The site was a little difficult to find, (maybe the sat nav )maybe me? but once we knew which B road ran back to the main A38 we were fine, maybe needs to be explained in the arrival notes?
A lovely friendly welcome from the Warden on site. The pitches are spacious in size, our Van is 8m in length.
The site is nestled next to the pub, which was unfortunately closed due to a busy bank holiday weekend? we arrived on Monday afternoon.
The site is probably as the crow flies a half mile from the M5, so daytime traffic is audible, nightime becomes less so, and a mainline train track is pretty close too.
The washroom for the pots and pans was great, 2 sinks and drainers, the toilet / shower block had 2 showers, 2 sit down loos 2 washbasins, all very clean and well presented!
The garbage area was great, with 3 large commercial bins of mixed waste and mixed recycling full, but another 3 empty and ready for use after a busy BH weekend was amazing!
A nice little site, well worth a stopover on your way down to the deep south west and not far to get back on the M5, less than 10 minutes or so!
The pitch Cost was £30, OK value, no extra for electricity! maybe an extension needed for the electrics or my bad van parking?

Spotlessly clean facilities, clean and tidy site.
You can hear the M5 but its not horrendous.
Excellent for a short stay and perfect for my trial run in a new caravan.

Once we finally found the site ;-) we had a lovely welcome from Nikki, who made sure we settled in Ok on a good hardstanding pitch.
The shower block was absolutely pristine, as was most of the site.
We used it as a base as we were visiting a friend's wedding in the nearby Tortworth Court.
The hotel itself is gorgeous as are the grounds and it's worth a look around.
So too is St. Leonards church just up the road on the Tortworth estate.
Make sure you walk around the back to see the 900+year old Sweet Chestnut tree.
Our only gripe was the traffic noise from the nearby M5, but all in all it's a lovely site.

Lovely site in a rural location.
Very clean facilities
Pitches good size
Had a very relaxed night away. Ate our evening meal in Hoggies bar and restaurant next door which was excellent. Fantastic food and great service.
The M5 is close by - so though rural you can here the heavier traffic.

Lovely site, staff very friendly & helpful. Shower & toilets cleaned regularly.
I was a little worried the noise from the nearby M5 would disturb my sleep but happily it didn't.
The site was quiet from around 9pm onwards which suited us. We had a meal at Hoggies, again really friendly staff & food good value.
Next time we travel to Cornwall would definitely have an overnight stop here. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Jane made us feel very welcome when we arrived explained the usual water, Elsan and what other facilities we could use.
Fantastic size hard standing pitches with electric.
Very clean well maintained site.
Ideal for staying a couple of days to recharge very close to motorway links ( some slight noise from MW traffic but nothing to stop you having a good night sleep).
Hot showers kept very clean.
Hoggies Bistro pub next door nice friendly staff.
Jane had great local knowledge and pointed out places of interest.
