Excellent quiet site, but need to be in the c&cc, takes 5 electric hookups or 10 non-electric, 5 mins easy walk to Chapel St Leonards centre for shops, pubs and beach. Have now been four times and will continue to visit. As it is a small site( but stacks of room)they only have running water and a chemical waste point and grey waste point, no actual toilets or showers, but that did not bother us as the van has a shower. They will take tents as long as they have toilet facilities. The owners are a very friendly and accommodating couple who after 10 mins seem like neighbours, no restrictions as to fairy lights or dogs, advisable to book in July/August.

Right. I would like to say how awful this site is. Just so no one will visit. But I can't. It's wonderful. No toilets or showers but that doesn't matter. Julie and her husband are lovely. One of my favourite favourite sites. Very peaceful. Lovely mowed grass pitches, wildlife pond. Also close to the village and the beach. It wouldn't be fare not to share.

This is a lovely well sheltered rural family friendly seaside location with friendly and welcoming owners. The site is on the edge of the delightful village of chapel st leonards with all the shops and eateries that one would expect, all within an easy ten minute walk of this green tree surrounded camping site that when we stayed had deer and lots of birds visiting. There's a pond in the middle of the camping field that's a haven for insect life. The site has well spaced large quiet electric hook up pitches some of witch have dividing embankments for extra privacy and all in easy reach of the water and waste points near the bungalow at site entrance. If you like the big noisy commercial sites with row upon row of caravans pitched next to each other and late night entertainment then this is probably not the site for you. Child and dog friendly.
