Great stay at the site, very clean and well organised and just as we were leaving additional shower facilities were just opened - as nice as any we have seen to be honest on any site.
The weather was roasting hot for 4 of our seven days which was great for the tan but less so for the fish who clearly had the same idea and just sunbathed.
The fishing on the slightly cooler overcast days was great loved every minute!
The owners Tracey and Nigel are fab, so welcoming, pleasant to chat to and ultra accommodating literally could not faulty their customer service.
We will deffo be back so thanks Both and see you soon.

Absolutely wonderful site. Nigel and Tracy, the owners are the friendliest people you could possibly meet. They really can’t do enough for you.
This is the second time we have been here and certainly come back again and again. In fact I don’t want to go home!

Liked
The tent field we were in was spacious and pitches clearly defined/marked out,
A very friendly welcome on arrival.
Hot water for washing up despite just finding 2 washing up areas they were clean.
The Rose and Crown nearby was really friendly and obliging but to walk there you had to cross an extremely busy road.
A short drive to a supermarket
Recycling bins although they were almost full when we arrived
Not so keen on
We found the site very dusty the car was coated in dust
Queuing for showers and toilets at times
We did not find any toilet rolls at all in the toilets or any soap at all
Rubbish bags piled up at times, although they were well contained
To add
Thought it was good to have a temperature check on arrival, however when the site got busier we noticed someone being let on then a time afterwards having this done so felt it was a bit conflicting as if their temp was too high they were already on site?

A very clean and tidy site, and our hosts where always on hand to help if they can.
This is a quiet and peaceful site and well worth a visit. The facilities are great and the price is not expensive.
I heartily recommend the ice-cream bar open daily.
Local cafe's and farm shops on hand if you fancy a wander off site and plenty to do in the surrounding area.

This is an isolated site, mainly for rallyers, with only a few pitches for C £ CC members. £21 pn. Very friendly owners. There is no lighting on any of the paths to the entrance and only two toilet cubicles.
That said, those who welcome peace and quiet will be very happy as long as there are no rallies on. There is no wifi available. The Chinese restaurant delivery worked well but it's a long walk to the gate in the dark with no lighting!
It's a good mile or so to walk to the bus stop and there is no pathway on the busy A17. Not recommended for the faint hearted. That being said the bus runs every 20 minutes to Spalding (40 minutes) or Kings Lynn.
The owners hold various functions in the barn - we just missed the Valentines evening. They would seem to be good value with food and entertainment.
We won't be back. Nothing wrong except it's too isolated for us.

Our third visit to a site which is extremely local to us - it is just so lovely & tranquil, well kept,
Lovely toilet & shower units & a barn where the most luscious desserts & cakes are served on some afternoons (and also live music & dinner nights on certain dates).
Always a warm welcome and we will return for years to come.
Fishing lakes, walks, plenty to do nearby.

Excellent site, new facilities available with en suite toilet, shower and wash basin with more toilets and showers available on site, wonderful couple running site very hard working and accommodating to ensure your stay is totally enjoyable.
Site immaculately kept with clean level Lawns. Tracy’s Sweet Delights Cafe certainly lives up to its name serving homemade cakes and ice cream sundaes.
We will now be regular visitors to this site what a gem!

Just returned home after a weekend at The Lawns with Beds DA. Fantastic site run by a fantastic couple. They work all hours to ensure that campers have a great time. Although the hygiene facilitie
s are few, they are immaculate, and plans are drawn for more to be built. There are lovely new shrubs and trees growing around the perimeter of the site, and a lake which attracts wildlife and birds. Now for the hog roast and scrumptious cakes, absolutely delicious! Lots of places to visit in the area.
Not really a site for children, more for adults to enjoy the company of the peace and quiet of the area. Access to and from the site is easy. Thanks also to Beds DA for a great weekend! Can't wait to return.

Lovely site. Very well laid out and expanding rapidly - a new fishing lake is also being excavated. Owners were really friendly and did a sausage and mash, plus dessert, for about 50 of us. The bangers were excellent, but the home-made desserts were to die for.
Proximity to the A17 may be a problem in summer, but barely audible with windows closed.
Only down point was the fact that there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower. However, it didn't seem to cause any problems and the standard of the fittings were far above your normal campsite stuff. Plans for extra toilets have already received planning permission.
Hard to imagine that I will not return in the future.

I stayed here with some friends as we cycle toured through the area.
The field was well kept, although did have fowl running loose.
The facilities were among the nicest I have ever encountered, though there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower, though I could see from the displays that more were on the way. Mention has been made of the proximity of the main road. It isn't particularly close, though you can hear it in the distance, but if you call yourself a camper, you won't notice it. I didn't.
The only thing which spoiled this site for me was the extraordinarily high price for a one man tent. Had we known it would cost us £12 each per night, we would have cycled a little bit further, to the next site. Shame, as it is a really pretty site.
