well what can one say, What a gem of a site, we arrived to be greeted by Janet and John, who are a lovely couple, very helpful and caring, nothing was too much trouble.
We also were given 4 very tasty eggs what a lovely touch.
The first thing you notice is the brilliant views, space and total peacefulness - very relaxing, perfect.
The shower/toilet were ALWAYS clean with special touches i. E showers gels for your use if you had forgotten yours, and as for the information cabin brilliant, I think Janet and John have thought of everything.
Even though the weather during our stay was not the best we had a great time and will certainly be back.
Thank you.

Stayed here for a few days at the end of touring Wales and wow. We certainly saved the best till last!
Janet and John are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them, they are thoughtful, considerate and extremely friendly.
We were greeted with fresh eggs (a lovely touch) and a fob for the electric gate and then shown all the facilities eg. Toilet and shower which were spotless and had little added extras of shower gel, shampoo etc for guests to use, there is an extremely useful information cabin with everything, I really mean everything that you could need, there was also a small barbecue, charcoal, firelighters, utensils, plates, even an apron for use - Janet asked us to please use it (it was brand new), as no-one had dared to, so we did and it produced a wonderful barbecue meal!
The views are spectacular and there were 2 horses in the field which were fascinating to watch.
We planned to go for walks and were provided with maps but it was such a peaceful, lovely place, that we just sat and enjoyed it.
We will definitely be returning, it's a unique find!

We were warmly welcomed here by John who presented us with half a dozen free range eggs (and a food recycling container) and advice on where everything was to be found. The weather on arrival was sunny allowing us glorious views over the valley from the elevated position.
The following morning the field was covered with a dusting of light snow. The appearance of the ground inspired me to get up and dressed at 6:30 am (definitely a 1st) to go out camera in hand to capture this beautiful scenes.
Both Janet & John could not have been more helpful as demonstrated when we experienced a problem with a gas cylinder. Janet insisted we use the cooker in their static caravan to cook some meat we had bought earlier. Also when John helped me with my gas cylinder sadly to no avail. It had faulty seal with 'pig tail' pipe. What lovely folk!
A venue to visit again without fail. We were originally concerned that there would not be enough to do and see but soon realized that there is so much more than meets the eye. In addition to things to do and see we also met some lovely interesting people.

The views are lovely and uninterrupted from the pitches. We had a warm welcome and some free range eggs! Beautifully kept site with toilet and shower.
A small herb garden for caravaners was a nice touch Lots to do and see, would recommend this site to anyone wanting some peace and quiet yet only a few minutes from local shops.

What a beautiful site! We stayed here this Easter bank holiday weekend, this was our first stay at Pencraig. The views were lovely, very clean toilet and shower. They have a wonderful little garden room where you can find out about the local amenities, places to visit and also a little swap shop! (Fab idea) Janet and John are two of the loveliest people I have ever met! Nothing was too much trouble. We had fresh eggs on arrival which were delicious! I could go on but all I really need to say is FANTASTIC! Xx

Lovely couple of days, beautiful scenery and friendly people.
Good facilities all round. Clean toilet and shower facilities, peaceful and quiet, dog friendly facilities with plenty of available walks both on lovely country lanes or forestry tracks with fantastic views across the valley. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we'll return.

Freshly cut, soft and springy grass and stunning views across hills and valleys along with a warm welcome from the owners with freshly laid eggs in hand - what more could you ask for? Caravaners themselves they have thought of every detail possible to make your stay with them the best it could be.
The facilities, a shower and a separate toilet are spotlessly clean and no spiders and cobwebs anywhere! There is a vastly stocked information hut with maps, suggested walks, games, DVD's, binoculars, BBQ and more.
Full electrical hook up's, chemical disposal, recycling bins, etc. The owners couldn't have been more obliging which altogether made our stay here at Pencraig our favourite site yet!
This site is a credit to the hard work of the owners, it's a caravaner's dream and now we have said how good it is, I hope there will be enough room for us to return!

We spent five days on this fantastic elevated site. The first thing that strikes you when you go through the entrance are the utterly stunning views. The site is grassed and immaculately kept. The spaces between the pitches are the size of a cricket pitch. Just drive on choose your pitch unhook and that's it. Hosts are the nicest people you could meet and go caravanning themselves. There is a toilet and shower on site, both spotless and an information hut with games books dvds and videos. It is without doubt one of the very best sites we have stayed on and we look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful views across the valley in this lovely quiet site. It has full electric hook-ups, toilet facilities both standard and chemical disposal as well as an information chalet. Pubs, restaurants and shops are just 10minutes drive away. Stabling is available for horses and dogs are welcome. The area is ideal for walkers, carriage drivers and those who like to ride either horses or bikes as there are miles of off road tracks, shallow river crossings and forestry to explore. A warm welcome was given by the friendly owners who were very helpful in assisting me unhitch etc.
We stayed for the weekend and will definitely return.
