 Selected this site to be close to the NEC for crufts. Arrived to be greeted by a very arrogant owner who proceeded to show us to the 'pitches'.
They were on the side of a farm track that was deeply rutted, muddy slippery and surrounded by farm yard rubbish and effluent. No where to turn the vehicles around unless you wished to drive 1/2 miles down a rutted track and risk getting stuck.
Electric pick ups across the track so other vehicles were driving over them. A lot of Trunk Road noise, vehicles parked nose to tail, no space, no where to run the dogs without them getting filthy. Only stayed one night, although booked for 3 couldn't face returning.
Ideally this site should not be open all year round as it is not suitable for even the hardiest of caravan/ motorhome owners during the winter months. I have no idea what the facilities were like, didn't venture through the mud to find out. How you would have dealt with a caravan on this site I would not have a clue.
If you visit, go with an open mind.
