A good level site with excellent facilities for £14 per night, but the actual site is about an acre, was expecting larger, the 4. 5 acres mentioned must include the 2 adjoining fields which can be used for dog exercising. Also there are no views, the site is enclosed by trees and bushes which does help with the wind, which blows a lot.
Huge access through a coded gate, opens automatically when leaving.
The nearest shop and fuel is at Aghalee, about 3 miles away. There is a Tesco at Crumlin, probably about 10 miles away.
There is not really much to see locally, so it's better used for a couple of nights only.
Ann the owner is friendly and helpful and takes great pride in her site.

A Gem of a site!
Ann and Trevor are so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The site is kept immaculate, the grass is like a garden lawn. Fantastic showers and a chance to meet other campers in the Barn on a Saturday night with Trevor's wood burner keeping you cosy.
Pub and restaurant only 5 mins walk away. Great wee site and I am happy to return again and again!

Just returned home today after 5 nights at this site. It is a beautiful and peaceful site, immaculately kept with great toilet and shower facilities.
The shower is a fab power/mixer shower and has loads of water - no running about to get wet! The block is very clean as well with plenty of lights at night. It is a lovely sheltered spot with nice windbreak bushes and trees around the edge.
Haven't commented on 'child friendliness' as this isn't applicable to us, there are no reasons why not to take children, although there is nothing especially for them to do here, with no play area and so quiet it would seem more appropriate for adults.
The access to the site is huge and wouldn't be a problem to the biggest of units, some of the approach lanes are a little narrow though, but easy enough with care. Ann and Trevor, the owners, are really lovely people.
Nothing is too much trouble for them, even down to a get together of all on site on the Friday and Saturday evening. Such good hosts! The pub down the road does a great meal, you won't come away hungry!
It's also in a nice spot at Gawleys Gate on Lough Neagh, nice to have a drink outside in the afternoon and look at the view. All in all we couldn't fault this site on anything, not even if we were to be really critical.
We will definitely be back.

There is a lovely wee pub just 5 mins walk from site that we are told they serve lovely meals Friday Saturday and Sunday and on our next trip we intend to have a meal there
Cant wait to go back now
If you want a quiet relaxing break this is the place to be
I know it is one we will be returning to for sure
Thank You Ann, see you soon
