What a great wee find.
Ideal for the ferry connections in Belfast.
Trevor and Ann were so helpful and welcoming.
We thought it was very quiet at first but this was because they are currently limited to only 5 pitches at the moment. Hopefully there will be more permission shortly cos it can easily handle about four times that amount.
The facilities are the best we came across during our trip around Ireland, not new or flashy but absolutely spotless, adequate and well looked after. They don't have big signs for everything but it's easy to find.
Access was a little confusing by
Mr Google but became quite simple on a little bit of investigation.
We will certainly use again as they specialise in accomodating vans off the late night ferries from GB.
Ideal for an early start t your trip around Erin's green isle.

Lovely place very quiet with all services.
The owner is really friendly and kind.
Next to the lake for activities and not so far from Belfast and Antrim.

Amazing value campsite. Fabulous owners Anne and Trevor who gave us a really warm welcome.
Shower is brilliant, no continuous button pressing. Immaculately clean site and well maintained.
Great pub a short walk away for food and drinks.
Would highly recommend to anyone.
The site doesn't have a play area for children but they would be warmly welcomed.

An excellent site. A very warm welcome from the owner Ann. So quiet and peaceful.
Fully deserves a maximum rating. Only wish we were there longer.
Site is level with a well kept grass area.

Spent a lovely weekend at Fairacres with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren.
Anne and Trevor were very welcoming and provided a lovely supper in the barn on the Saturday night. Weather wasn’t too great but we were pitched hard standing so avoided wet grass.
Will definitely be back

Brilliant cs site with excellent facilities. Site kept immaculate by Anne the owner. Anne and hubby Trevor are very welcoming and go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that you enjoy your stay.
The get together in the barn on Saturday evening is great. Anne provides the buffet and you take your own drink, the craic is superb. Nice pub less than 10 mins walk away has outdoor seating area with great views over Lough Neagh.
Highly recommended. I only put 5/10 for child friendliness because there are no dedicated facilities for them on site. Having said that there are loads of places to visit within 10 miles to keep the kids amused.

Lovely site, with great facilities. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Owners very welcoming and as caravanners themselves know just what caravanners need.
We stayed on a hard standing pitch and the access was extremely easy.
Despite being in a very quiet location, it was very convenient for Belfast.

What a find for two retired newbies. As others have said Ann and Hubby Trevor are both friendly, helpful and informative. My wife and I loved the location- a few hundred yards from Lough Neagh and the local pub.
A few miles away is Portmore Lough a terrific RSPB Sanctuary. And nature reserve. The area is also great for any anglers with trout, salmon, carp and coarse fishing all fairly close.
The site is surrounded by countryside with a plethora of birdsong and a pair of nesting Buzzards nearby. The local RSPB warden has also identified Merlin, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel and Marsh Harrier.
Besides the local pub Clennaghans near Aghalee is a great restaurant and pub. It also has a fascinating history which the staff are happy to inform visitors.
We have visited Fairacres twice in the last month and shall be going back to explore much more.
As others have pointed out the gathering in the barn on Saturday night is great craic and opportunity to meet folk from all over.
