I have been going down to this same caravan site for over 14 years and I love it it has a variety o fun activities you can do also there is a playing filed where you can play different sports, the club where themed nights are held, and the beach where you can chill out on the massaging pebbles. All in all I give it a 10/10

August 2004 We only stayed here the one night but I thought it was fine.
The field seemed massive as there were less than 10 of us in there! The toilets and showers are superb - big and clean etc but again strangely surreal as you need a key to get in and when I got in there wasn't a soul in there!
They are obviously catering more for statics - there is a good play area and this club lounge - again no-one was in it half an hour after opening when we arrived to book in.
The beach is up and over the cycle way and seemed pebbly where we were - I couldn't understand why more people weren't here to be honest! Deb

July 2004 Used to go to this site when I was a child about 20 years ago with my parents and have to say it has not changed much apart from much more static caravans around, which leaves only about 40 pitches for tourers.
Toliets block is clean and basic with hot water, you need to use a key to get in.
No pot wash and no electric on site, but of couse the £12 a night site fee is mainly for the location for being literally 20 seconds from the sea front.
Very flat cycle route, ideal for children learning to cycle or for those wishing to cycle 5 miles into Rye Harbour for a quick pint in the pub before cycling back.
Would recommend for a weekend but I wouldn't be able to live with electric for much longer than that! :-)

July 2003 An excellent, and I mean excellent, place to visit - 30 second walk to beach, excellent entertainment, especially a band called M T Vessels they were superb. A must go campsite for anyone of any age. Right near a long stretch of road where you can cycle with a pub at the end and lots of bird huts on the way.
