What a hidden gem this site is. We're just back after a couple of nights in our camper.
Small and basic but everything you need just how we like it. Well maintained site, the friendliest chicken I've ever seen and pretty gardens make you fell you're miles from anywhere.
The owners were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and a good standard. And your on a bus route into Liverpool should you not want to drive.

This is a hidden gem!
The approach is narrow which needs to be considered but the site is great. Very calm and quiet.
Showers and toilets are limited but clean. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Lovely little site, clean well equipped oasis of peace in a rural setting, yet ideal location for visiting Liverpool and surrounding area.
Jayne and Peter are very helpful and considerate owners.
Our daughter lives in Crosby and this is now our go to place when visiting the family.

What a fantastic little site! It’s situated in one of those areas where, after WWII parcels of land were sold off as small-holdings to first time small businessmen, engineers, artists, market gardeners etc. Modest semi-detached houses with a couple of acres of land attached.
Feels quite rural, peaceful and timeless; almost nothing about the landscape has changed. Even the site feels from a different era, apart from the modern vehicles. Quite charming.
The site is easily found and the owners are friendly, helpful & efficient. The field is flat & well tended. Am guessing it was once a paddock for ponies. All pitches have access to hook-up & are numbered. There are 3 hardstandings, but the field is well drained anyway.
There are two chicken coops on either border of the field. There really are up to 30 eggs available a day, but request them in advance to be sure of getting some; very popular with the locals.
The facilities that we could use, ( Bathrooms were closed) were well sign-posted and in a good state of repair. A small handwritten sign at the entrance informs you of your pitch spot.
We stayed here so that we could visit Another Place (the iron men) by Antony Gormley at Crosby Beach, only 10 minutes drive away. Think that we’ll have find further reasons to return. Very good value. Stayed an additional night, it was so nice.

Absolutely lovely site and will be returning! It literally is a hidden corner. It is down a small road in the middle of the countryside but is easily accessible.
We were so glad we booked here. A beautiful, highly maintained little site that was a gem to find!
