 We have just had a great stay at this cs, lovely well kept site just outside Leyland and about 4 miles to Preston. Only basic facilities at the moment but improvements being made all the time.
This is a must visit if you like small fisheries with two lakes well stocked right next to your van. Plenty of places to visit in the area and Southport about 40 minutes drive away. All this for only £8/night you can't complain.

Spent five nights at this site. A basic site with five hard standings, and a good sized grass area. Made to feel welcome on arrival and was sited next to a fishing lake. Plenty of work was in progress while their to improve the site. NO electric or toilet block yet, but should follow. Their is a toilet by the second fishing lake for daily paying fishermen. If fishing is your bag, great. After two years of fishing caught my most fish yet. Site is easy to find, good wide entrance, traffic noise at times. Local bus stop five min. Walk. More buses and shops twenty minute walk. All in all a good basic site, will be back. BY the way, great free range eggs for sale.
