Liked. Location was great for us. Pitches were fine, quite level. Owners friendly and helpful.
Pitches were well kept, cut grass and flowers, nice touch.
Easy access to water and waste. Very cheap.
Disliked. Toilets weren't cleaned during the 3 nights of our stay, dirty, cobwebs, unswept.
The shower was much the same, housed in a rusty container with concrete floor and costs £1 for 10 mins. My husband used the shower but I kept to our own facilities. We were told they were building a new toilet block but didn't see any signs of that starting yet.

Four nice things: a pleasant friendly manager, the little wishing well flower arrangements adorning the EHUs, the pitches were solid and level and it was cheap.
Otherwise a disappointing site though previews older reviews suggested otherwise. 1 male toilet, 1 female toilet both hosting prolific cobwebs and floors in need of a sweep at the very least, 1 unisex shower, very basic, walls were bare plaster as was the floor and it was coin operated £1 for 10 mins £2 for longer.
The washing up sink appeared to have just 1 tap (cold) and the surroundings were a depressingly dilapidated greenhouse and other buildings.

A little gem of a site, small/quant but all you need for a relaxing holiday or short stay.
All in for £15 a night.
Many shops a short drive away and close to motorways

Lovely little campsite just off the motorway. Mark is a lovely man and greeted us with a complimentary newspaper and magazine and made us feel welcome.
He was very helpful and knowledgable. We really enjoyed this friendly little campsite and wouldn’t hesitate to return! Brilliant site for the price.
Only reason I have given it 8 for children is that there was no play area but again this wouldn’t stop us returning!

An excellent little site near Leyland, with easy access to the M6. Very convenient for Todds motorhome dealers or Campbell Caravan dealers nearby. The facilities are simple (2 toilets, 1 hot shower, 1 cold water wash-up sink) but they are cleaned daily and there are plenty of water taps and electric hookups.
Mark, the on-site warden, is indeed a gem! So helpful and friendly, with the bonus of a gift of 6 eggs on arrival.
The two large ponds stocked for fishing have ducks, moorhens and a resident grey heron - lovely to watch, if not for the fish!
It is open all year, the price very reasonable, we'll be back!

We have stopped off at this site for the past 3 years and it is a very comfortable site. Very basic and very clean toilets and shower room. Mark the warden is a gem and we look forward to stopping off at Oakfield on our way to France and Selsey, we have started stopping over for 2 nights as we do a lot of mileage on our journey south or north bound. You have always got the ducks who love to come and visit as well. If you are ever looking for a stopover I would definitely recommend this site.

Warm Welcome, Small site, so just one of each Ladies, Gents W/C, Shower, washing sink and waste disposal, all very clean.
Pretty site, wild flower banks, two fishing lakes on site, (I think it was £5 per day. ) Good stop over point. Dogs can be walked round the site on lead, or a walk down a quite dead end road to a walk through a wooded lake area. I would use this site again. Easy to find. Traffic noise but it is quite overnight. I have put a low child friendliness due to the lakes.
