The site is in an excellent location next to fantasy island and close to shops pubs and market. The lady in the office was most helpful and very friendly. The toilets and showers were clean 30p token for showers. Its 10 pounds for a barrier card to site which is refundable at the end of stay.Just a few minutes walk to beach. Had a great three days hope to return soon

We have visited this site many times and nothing really changes but we thoroughly enjoy it. The showers cost 30p which you buy from the warden on arrival and its £10 for a barrier card. The pitches are a little cramped but this is the main touring site for Ingoldmells and close to all the amenities so what do people expect
We mostly spend our days out-and-about and only use this as a base - we have booked to revisit in april 2010 and will probably book for September later the same year.
Like I've said this site is really OK.

The caravan site is in a good location close to the markets, shops and fantasy island, it took about 5 minutes to walk to the beach.
On the plus side there is a small play area for the kids but the caravans were parked very close to each other with little room to move We had to buy tokens for the showers which were not clean and there was no hand wash in the toilets.

We chose this site for one reason only, it was close to all the shops so that we could leave our elderly parents there for one week while we had the 2nd week . To be honest we didn't like it, we found the toilets dirty, the caravans were too close. We got fed up with footballs banging on our van in the end we left one day early. I think we would have felt better if there was a key system on the shower/toilet blocks as we did notice other people coming in from the street

This site is in a brilliant location right next door to market and fantasy island but that is all it has going for it. The site wardens were rude and not friendly or helpful at all. The showers were filthy, didn't look like they were cleaned all week. no soap or any thing to dry your hands on and my pet hate you had to pay for a shower. The pitches were tiny and you are very crammed in. There is a great little fish and chip shop at entrance to site nothing to do with the site though. Needless to say we wont be returning.

A well laid out and level site with good clean facilities apart from no soap or hand drying facility in the toilets and the showers needing a 30p token. Secure site with swipe card operated barrier for entrance / exit.
Close to lots of amenities, funfair, market, shops, pubs etc. With the beach being about a 10 minute walk away. Bus stop at the entrance to the site for travel into Skegness.
A site I will probably revisit next year.

We visited the site in August 2008. The site is well situated for the funpark and the beach. The site was ok for levelness but the toilets take a bit to be desired as no drying towels or soap to wash your hands. Water and chemical disposal points close together and you have to pay for the showers

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for 4 nights, the staff were friendly and the site was very clean and tidy. The showers and the toilets were also very clean and tidy regardless of what time of the day. There was no pub on site but there didn't need to be because within 5 min walk you were at Fantasy Island and a bar called Scallywags. It has live entertainment every night( Wednesday was the best night ) and 10 min walk you are at the beach with all the other places to visit in between. We thought long and hard about any improvment and couldnt think of anything worth saying. We will be back here next summer. Thanks everyone at Hardys.

We've been coming here for the past five years, Dave and Maureen always have a friendly welcome for you. The toilets and showers have been refurbished a couple of years ago and are clean and tidy. On busy times the toilets do have a bit of grass and mud on the floors but this is usually sorted within a sort period of time. Any problems and a quick visit to the office usually gets them sorted. The site is close to Fantasy Island and the market and the beach is a short walk away.

When we visited we found the site to very convenient for the local amenities, The showers and toilets on the site were what you would expect for a busy touring site - if you went to them reasonably early they would be clean and tidy but some people do not treat them well and do not leave them as they would expect to find so sometimes they would be a bit untidy but a visit to the reception would have the problems sorted within minutes.
It is in an ideal spot because it is very close to the Fantasy island complex which provides excellent family entertainment until late into the night. Ingoldmells itself puts Skegness to shame as it offers a lot more with a huge market to look round by day and lots of shops and amusment arcades for the kids. Skegness is by no means bad and can be reached easily by car a bus and provides a day away from Ingoldmells with its many shops and arcades.
To sum up the site is well worth a visit and I would go again and again because I feel it is in an excellent location and is very good value for money.
