We really enjoyed this tranquil, immaculate, adults only site. The approach roads are a bit narrow and they could do with a bigger sign at the entrance.
Re earlier reviews. It's some 2. 5 miles walk into the village (which isn't much in any event!). The roads are virtually single track with no pavement - not an enjoyable experience. There was very little train noise in our experience - we hardly noticed it. The buses from Marden will take you to Maidstone and Goudhurst.
We had a great time. This site sets the standard. If only they were all this good!

Excellent site, nicely presented, well kept & good flat pitches. Owners are very friendly & helpful.
Toilets, showers & washing block as a whole are immaculately kept, nicely decorated & very clean. Plenty of room in the shower cubicle with constant hot water, hooks & storage for your towels etc. , so whilst showering are kept dry, but within your own private shower room.
Washing up facilities are good. Nice size site, not too big. Good location, not too far to local pubs serving good food & about 30 minutes drive into Tunbridge Wells.
I'd recommend this site for a peaceful break without the crowds you may find in larger sites.
I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend away to celebrate anniversary.
What a fabulous site this is. Everything spotless, and so quiet. Loads of hot water in lovely showers, with plenty of room. Pitches are a good size and all appear to have electric hook up. Some narrowish lanes in the area when we were driving here but no problems.
Greeted by name when we arrived and made to feel very welcome.
The area is close to places of interest and we visited Sissinghurst castle gardens which was well worth a visit. Local farm shop cafe and garden centre cafes pretty good too.
For us, just we want in a site.
Can’t fault it all, and will certainly be back.

I can only endorse previous reviews. Well presented site, lovely flat, well drained grass, all weather pitches. Sanitary block second to none, proper taps on the shower are such a pleasant change.
The fenced dog play area thoughtfully placed at the opposite end of the estate complete with water station and poo bin meant our pups had a great time too.
Definitely be coming back here, such a warm welcome from the hosts and their lovely Bassets.

Spent a week at this site
WOW what a site great size pitches, well kept site and as for the toilets/shower's 5stars is not doing them justice 6+stars from us
Great location OK a few country lanes to go down to get there but not a major problem
Close to train station to get into London for the day
Would Highly recommend this Adult Only site
WE will definitely be back even though we live in the North East

Brilliant place nice and quite with well thought out and clean facilities.
The owners were fabulous and polite.
The dog run was a plus for our husky to run around then be a nightmare to put his lead back on as he thought it was a game lol.
Overall a well recommend site.

A 4 night stay for my better halfs birthday with the intention of visiting Canterbury Cathedral which we did on the Monday. A lovely secure site with immaculate toilet and shower facilities well located in the central area of the site.
Pitching was a breeze as pitches are well marked and level with plenty of room for the tow car too!
The village of Marden is very close for all basics and also a fantastic Chinese takeaway.
Other areas we visited whilst in Kent were Tonbridge and also Whitstable which is gorgeous.
One criticism I noted was local drivers drive extremely fast for the type of roads in the area which was a concern but it wouldn't stop us returning to Still Acres as it is definitely a hidden gem in the garden of England!

This site is a real find: Superb, spotless showers and toilets with plenty of hot water. Flat, generous pitches. Quiet, rural location which is secure and set back from the road. Friendly owner who lives on site. Reasonable nightly rate which includes electric hook-up. We had a lovely week visiting local attractions and eating at the recommended Stile Bridge pub.
The following are more suggestions really as there is nothing to criticize. This is one of the best campsites we have stayed on:
1. As another reviewer has pointed out, we were told to pitch between the tyres but the pitch numbers are at the edge which caused some confusion as to the correct place to pitch.
2. The refuse bins are kept in the same covered area as the freezer. Perhaps it would be better to separate them due to hygiene and the off-putting bin smell.
3. Facility to recycle glass, plastic and cans.
4. Much more local information offered on places to visit, walks etc.
5. Small on-site shop for essentials as the nearest one is a few miles drive away.
6. All pitches have electric hook-up but a hairdryer socket would be appreciated in the ladies' washroom for those camping in tents where there is no mirror and you are conscious of not wanting to make too much noise with the dryer!
I probably sound picky but, as I said, the above are only suggestions. We really did think this site was great and would definitely recommend it!

We stayed for two weeks. It was a lovely quiet campsite and very popular. You can hear planes often flying over and there is a train line across the road but it never bothered us. Usually when we stay for two weeks on a campsite, the site is really quiet during the week but busy in the weekends.
This site was busy all the time. The toilet facilities were spotless and beautifully presented. The shower rooms were a good size, the water pressure was good and the water was nice and hot.
The whole site was really well kept and secure with a key fob given in order to access and leave the site. There was a freezer to put our ice blocks in and we loved the fact that we could have a camp fire.
We had some heavy rain while we were there but the site was never muddy.

Great campsite.
Couldn't fault it at all. Lovely facilities with big toilets and showers, spotlessly clean, endless hot water, and more like a 5star hotel than a campsite with its lovely solid walls (no open partions). The pitch was flat, level and spacious with electric hook up and that wasn't too hard to drive in my 8' nail pegs.
Secure gate entry and ideal for visiting Kent. We had a lot of rain while we were there, but no puddles or flooding. Great for doggies too with very large secure areas to runamok in! We'll be back for sure!
