Had a lovely few days at Meadow Bank Farm. Great location for The New Forest and Southampton. The owners Tim and Catherine are very friendly,
The site has a toilet and will soon have a shower, it has washing up and laundry facilities.
Only 5 pitches with good security gates, and is very relaxing.
A superb site for the dogs to have a run. Good pub in walking distance. Can't wait to return there for a longer stay.

We are reasonably local to this site and came across it on one of our excursions looking for weekend retreats not too far from home. Well what a little gem, Catherine and Tim are one of the most friendliest and welcoming hosts we have had the pleasure of staying with.
The site is well kept with all the facilities very well maintained and nothing is too much trouble for them.
There is good security and we know there are plans to upgrade the site even further. The local pub is 5 minutes walk with good ale and exceptional food all reasonably priced. You are close to south coast beaches the new forest and many local attractions.
Well worth a visit.

Spent a very enjoyable five days with Tim and Catherine, who made us extremely welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.
Grassy sites were well cared for and water and toilets close at hand. Washing machine now in the amenity block is a great addition.
Site is ideally placed for exploring the New Forest, where we did many forest walks.
We were heading on to the Isle of Wight from Southampton docks. Left Meadow Bank at 10. 30 and caught the 11. 00 ferry over - no problems.

You can see from my log in name, that after spending time in July at another site we took a chance to see if Meadow Bank was still closed, to our delight we were met by the new current owners Tim and Catherine, we booked up there and then for our current stay, it's been amazing,
Just like the old site but better, cut grass, good dog walk, and even at far end of field, wait for it ( table and chairs) to relax whilst watching the Deer and wild life, it's quiet and relaxing,
Another favourite site saved from development by people whom haven't run s site before, they have made our stay here just like it used to be, if Tim and Catherine complete the plans they have for this site you will need to book well in advance to get in or you'll be greatly disappointed you missed out.
We are moving to Dorset Steam Fair in the morning but if didn't have that option we would have stayed here longer.
We recommend this CL as it has all you require for everything you need.
Thank you Tim & Cath.
Angie & Bob.

We were lucky enough to be the first booking at this site under the new owners Tim & Catherine Hood. We had been stopping here since 2000 but over the last 18 months or so the site became run down so we stopped coming.
After receiving a call from Tim stating that they had just taken the site over we decided to give it a go. We are very glad we did. Within 7 weeks they had done wonders and without any previous experience of running a camp site I have only the highest praise for them.
The site is handy for the New Forest and the surrounding areas. It is well worth a visit.
We have already booked up for our next of many visits.
