Great location for The New Forest. On arrival, we were met by Tim who was so helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to help us out during our stay.
The site was well set out and very clean facilities, with plenty of space between each pitch. A secure site within walking distance of a lovely local pub and chip shop. With a superstore less than five minutes away in the car.
Great walks for the dogs and of course the whole of the New Forest to explore within a short drive of the site. Lovely to see horses in a paddock on the site and even a deer in the neighbouring field when walking the dogs in the evening.
Beaulieu Motor Museum is within a twenty minute drive and an excellent day out.
We would definitely recommend this site, it exceeded expectations and will definitely go there again.

Used as an overnight stop before catching a ferry.
Friendly welcome, large pitch and very adequate facilities. No wonder the site featured in the CL 2017 awards.
Easy access and no noise. The White Horse Inn with reasonably priced meals a 6 minute walk away – depending on the day might be best to book.

A very nice site with excellent access and a huge field, very good for dogs. Added bonus of a security gate.
We didn't go in the direction of the New Forest, but there are several walking areas off the A36 towards Totton which the hound also enjoyed.
Morrisons for food and fuel close by.
£18 per night in winter, a bit steep but worth it.

We arrived yesterday (Thursday) and it was if we had never left. Tim and Catherine have done a wonderful job of transforming the site, and they are always busy doing something to improve it.
We are here for a week before moving off, and we will be very sad to go.
If you are looking for a friendly welcome and a simple but perfect site, you need to visit here!
Wonderful people and wonderful site.

Well here we are again back home safely after having spent a more than Memorable holiday at this campsite, it's been our favourite site now for some years and we've seen a few different keepers but the new keepers Tim and Catherine I must say are by far the best.
They make you welcome from the minute you arrive to the time you leave. They have both worked so hard to get the campsite just right for everyone, it's also a great site for dog owners.
Tim and Catherine have installed a new shower unit with constant hot water and a great wash room. We have already booked up for next month for an even longer stay and our friends are coming with us.
If your looking for a relaxed quiet site near to the forest and a pub on the doorstep then this is the place for you.
Thank you Tim and Catherine see you on the 14th July
A and B. Oh! Not forgetting the 2 dogs they are sad to be home. X

We stayed here for 4 nights over the late May bank holiday. It was a perfect base for exploring the New Forest and the owners Tim and Catherine were very welcoming.
The toilet and shower area was clean and there was also a washing machine and dryer to use. An electronic gate at the entrance made it feel secure and a lovely walk around the adjoining meadow made for a very pleasant stay.
We would definitely return here if in the area.

Stayed for 5 nights on this site. It was a perfect base for visiting the New Forest with a short drive to Exbury, Furzey Gardens, Mottisfont, Brockenhurst & Lyndhurst.
The pitches are flat, very well maintained and there is plenty of room on the field. Our hosts, Tim and Catherine were helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome.
The facilities are immaculate with a spacious shower room. Although the roads to the site are all main roads, no narrow lanes etc. We found it quiet and peaceful; no road noise. Supermarkets and a late/Sunday opening convenience store nearby.
Despite some very heavy rain, the pitch didn't become waterlogged or muddy. If I'm down that way again this would be my first choice of site.

A lovely site & a friendly welcome. Tim & Catherine have transformed the outbuildings into a great shower & toilet block with hot water sink, freezer & washing machine.
Nicely kept lawn on a mix of hardstanding & earth (you will need rock pegs if putting up an awning) & a nice meadow area to exercise the dog. Popular pub serving good food just minutes walk away & a Morrison's for the essentials.
There was a little road noise but nothing intrusive. Easy walks from site into Busketts inclosure for forest walking.
Definitely recommend.
