Spent 16 nights on this site. Very lucky with the weather, too hot if anything, but mornings and evenings were very comfortable. Excellent facilities, lovely bathrooms and loads of hot water. Also included was use of a fridge and freezer, which we consider essential during hot weather with limited shops. Good bus service from Croyde to Braunton, where there are more shops for provisions. Ruda Park Campsite in Croyde had a Nisa shop which we found useful. Sally was very helpful, we purchased lovely fresh garden produce from Gwen`s garden. Site is within short walking distance of beaches at Croyde and Putsborough. From Putsborough you can walk the full length of the beach to Woolacombe. The site was very quiet during the week but got very busy, largely due to the weather, at weekends. Good for walking. Access to site involved lanes with passing places. Travelled as a couple. Would recommend.

We stayed here as part of a large group of families. Our first visit to the north Devon coast. Sally was very helpful but couldn't control the gales and thunderstorms of our first day!
We pitched our tents in a beautiful position - then repitched them in a slightly less exposed position. There is plenty of space but the fields where we were all had a degree of slope. I believe the fields near the farm are more level.
Being a large group we were in a less used field so had portaloos and a trek for water. But the facilities down at the farm are lovely. It was bank holiday weekend so it was busy and there were queues for the showers if your timing was out.
Pricing is per head which made it expensive for families with teenagers. Adult price of £10 per night kicks in once they're 14. Cash or cheque, no cards. But the location justifies the cost. Croyde and Putsborough were an easy walk for beaches. We walked to The Thatch in Croyde and The Rock in Georgeham both of which did us proud.
We came for a beach holiday and, following the storms, had two glorious days, so didn't explore the area, other than a walk around Baggy Point. Driving is an effort, with narrow lanes, so it was a pleasure to walk.
The site is for tents only. I don't know if there is hook up in the fields near the farm. They accept dogs and on our field, at least, are happy for you to light fires. I think they sell wood and there is a freezer for ice blocks.
I would be very happy to return.

We stayed here last summer and it was brilliant for us and our two dogs. It was after the school holidays, which very much suited us, so fairly quiet. The big field with amazing views was shut at this time but we had a lovely walk up there. There’s three other fields with hedging so I imagine even in busier times it doesn’t feel too crowded. We had a campervan. Can’t remember if they did electric hook up but we didn’t need it. The owners daughter was mostly running it and showed us round. Owners were available at the farm house to help if needed but basically left us to it. All very relaxed. Toilet/shower block was lovely, newly done, clean and warm. Plenty of hot water and no extra charge. We were also able to put some things in a big chest freezer. We were given some local information: how to get to the beach and where to eat on our first night. It’s a great location, tucked away but in easy walking distance of Croyde down a lane. You can also walk to Putsborough beach. This is a fairly basic site: no play areas etc but that is why we chose it. Facilities that were there were great. A gem of a site.
