Wow what a find, we love the west country and Sally and the team did a super job, nice spread out site, always very clean and looked after, just great.
Dave was a super lad and most helpful with advice and he did a splendid job around the site.
Steve was also super friendly and helpful - really can't praise the staff enough - but you will pay for this, not the cheapest but probably the best around, (you really do get what you pay for) and what views and the space around us, showers and loos were great and the milk (and shakes) was flippin delicious -
Just a super set up all around (I just wish people would drive slower especially around the local narrow roads) but really not a problem we loved the site, thanks

Very friendly owners. Amazing site.
Lots of different fields to pitch up in which all offer something different.
Views from the top field are absolutely incredible.
If the weather is good will defo camp up there.

Beautiful quiet well maintained site, very clean toilets/showers set in a beautiful barn, fridges for you to use.
Very dog friendly.
Sally will go above and beyond to help you with any problems.
Can't speak highly enough about this campsite.
Walking distance to the beach and village.

A fantastic facility for motorcycle camping.
Well maintained and the facilities on offer were spotless.
Loved the microwave and kettle.
Will be returning that’s for sure.
Thanks Sally

Just returned from 4 nights in the heatwave. We didn't read the directions properly and had a few hairy moments on the narrow country lanes with passing places and some steep turns. Do not cross the ford - turn right just before and follow lane to the farm house.
Pull up in car park and walk to reception to check in. Sally explained the facilities and we followed a quad bike to our pitch on Greenland field. Just a view of a steep field from there, but climb to the top (or request a pitch up there) and the views are amazing - one field looks over to Putsborough / Woolacombe and the other to Croyde bay.
Unisex facilities (in the converted farm buildings) were a short walk down the farm access road. Showers do get busy when people come back from the beach but we didn't queue. Some larger basins would be useful for end of the day washing.
The communal fridges came in useful when our leisure battery ran out (due to heatwave I think). Also sockets available for phone charging. Hair dryer in one of the shower areas. Indoor and outdoor pot washing with plenty of hot water.
Easy footpath walk to Croyde then pretty road walk to the centre which gets very busy. Driving is a problem during busy times so the position of the site 10-15 mins walk from Croyde or Putsborough is good, although too far to carry surfboards etc!
Price per head could work out expensive for a family but Sally offered me discount for our teen. £42. 50/night for 2 adults, 1 teen and 1 dog is still top end pricing for no electric but we felt it was worth it. Only 2 sites in Croyde accept dogs - Combas and Orchard Farm in the centre.
We would happily stay again at either.

Fantastic friendly site in a beautiful location. Sally and team go above and beyond to make your stay a good one.
Converted barns are now spacious and clean shower and toilet facilities. Also porta loos in fields. Lots of thoughtful little extras eg wellies to borrow!
Would highly recommend.

Lovely place close to Croyde and Putsbrough beach. The facilities by reception are really good - clean and modern and they had a very good social distancing system in for using the bathroom.
We met the host Sally who was friendly and helpful and said she was always available via phone.
We stayed in a field quite a way from the facilities which meant we were closer to the beaches and we had an amazing view but it was quite a walk to go to the bathrooms!
The sloped nature of the field meant they were quite empty and everyone mostly in a corner or two. The portaloos in the field corner worked quite well (I wonder if a few compost toilets would be nicer though) but it would have been great to have a water tap a little closer, if logistically possible.
I'd definitely come back here and I'd recommend it for anyone, but do request a spot near to the bathrooms if you have small children or need accessibility.

Lovely clean shower and toilets with a good system for COVID- lots of signs and regular cleaning.
Plenty of space to pitch too.
They also lent me a bodyboard and there is a large drying room for wetsuits.
10m min walk to the beach which avoided queuing for parking.
