We are sited here on one of the new seasonal pitches, before we placed our caravan here we had looked at many sites. The improvements that have been undertaken in the last two years that we have been here are brilliant.

This is not a group owned caravan park, but a family run private site, even the covid lockdown hasn't stopped the owners continuing with their planned improvements, yes the previous review is correct,

The toilets/shower is an old portacabin, but on the ladies side it has totally been refurbished with a new shower and an independent wash room, the gents side we understand will take form next year, new pitches are being built on a weekly basis at the minute, each with their own independent electric meter.

At the start of the pitches new planting has been put in place and is all starting to take form.

This is a lovely site, its only a 10 min walk into Chapel village and the beach, just around the corner from Chapel garden centre and Strawberry field. The owners are brilliant, really approachable and always on hand should you need them. At this end of Chapel, there's a Spar & Co-Op, a couple of pubs and a beach bar, plus several take aways.

I understand where the other reviews are coming from. But this is a work in progress. And an awful lot of progress has been made just in the last year.

The touring pitches per night are a reasonable rate, you do pay for your showers, but the showers are brilliant and you get way more time than you actually need, this season a fob key lock has been introduced, which is great and the facilities are cleaned several times a day.

Theres plenty of room, if you have children they can play out in safety as its off the main road, or if like us you have dogs they can have a nice walk around the grounds.

About 15 mins walk to town centre/ beach, some work going on to make improvements and new pitches.

Could be a nice site but improvements and a tidy up required.

This site is well positioned for beaches and shops. A good bus service runs to Skegness and Mablethorpe from around 500 yards away. Cheap and cheerful at just £13pn for two of us including electric.

On the bad side it did resemble a scrapyard in places and the toilet block, although being clean, was a 30 year old or more Portakabin with scaffolding steps and handrails. No hot water, toilet paper, hand dryers so one tends not to stay in there for too long!
