Just stayed for 1 night, friendly reception and good pitches.
Nice views with farm animals in the field in front of us.
Perhaps for us the last mile or so approaching the site was quite bumpy.
Overall very good.

We stayed at gate farm for two nights instead of three due to vehicle problems,
The site is absolutely excellent everything you want on pitch, water electric and waste water,
Very quiet there, the owners very helpful and friendly, they had done a lot of things to keep people safe.
Excellent job, we will be back

A lovely CL site in a beautiful location. This was a few days away for us and not far from home, while we continued to work in the area. We just wanted to be outside in our leisure time and wake to a beautiful view.
Booking was easy, they have their own website which is easy to use and really helpful, and phone calls were friendly and straightforward. The owners, Sue and Steve, were welcoming and helpful.
The farm is a working farm and full of activity and interesting buildings. The view is good and frequently featured horses, sheep and cattle and lots of birds. You are under the flight path of Birmingham Airport but due to fewer flights this was never an issue. I imagine it might be if it were a lot busier and you are there for peace and quiet. The area has some great walks and nice pubs to stop off at. Not far from Knowle and a supermarket, takeaway and other shops.
The CL site has 6 pitches, 5 hardstanding and 1 grass, the grass one was on quite a slope. All had EHU at 16amps and their own taps. The toilet was a festival type portable toilet but was not in use presumably due to covid safety measures. Grey water and toilet waste were separate areas and both had hand sanitiser and cleaner. No shower.
It's not the cheapest at £16 per night for basic facilities and we later discovered we had missed a £1 a night discount advertised on the website but it was never mentioned and not discovered until after I'd paid. We didn't bring it up, one of those things.
Would definitely stay again, it's a welcoming site in beautiful area and if the basic facilities are not a problem then it's a great choice.

A great little site. Very welcoming and friendly owners, pleasant views out over open countryside.
The noise from planes has been raised in some reviews, but it didn't bother us.
Nice walks along the Heart of England Way or lanes to the Old Saracens Head pub or to Balsall Common for cafes etc

Great little quiet site £15 per night. Carnt turn left into site but its not a problem 0. 5 past site is a huge roundabout (landrover). No toilets or showers we used our own (we stayed 3 nights enroute to south wales). Close to nec and cadburys world. Little noise from aircraft but this soon fades away.
Great neat spotless site has ehu just missing a toilet. Will. Stay again.
