Stayed here for first time in Helston area. Very warmly welcomed by the owners who were very personable and chatty, and showed me my pitch and gave me a tour of the facilities. My pitch was just near an area with ducks in which I loved.
Facilities are basic (two toilet / shower rooms) but very well appointed, and for a site of this size were plentiful (I only had to wait once).
Views are obstructed by the hedge / wall around the edge of the field when in your tent, but at least this blocks winds and lovely sea views when up and about the site or sat by the campfire.
Excellent location for Porthleven (lovely town with nice bay, excellent restaurants, nice pub and good local supermarket), Praa Sands, and even Lizard and Truro areas not far away - most of Cornwall within easy reach.
Only mark down on facilities is because no electrical connections or charging points, but understandable for an eco site.

Wow what a find! This is a really beautiful little site run by the most accommodating helpful couple we have ever met.
We stopped here for 3 nights after finding the site online, we called during the day and were able to take the last pitch available for the bank holiday weekend. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Debbie and Joe who have turned what was once a scrappy field into a little bit of paradise.
The site is now a flat grassed site with toilet and shower and pot washing facilities but no EHU. Over the weekend the site reached capacity but the facilities were kept spotlessly clean.
Nothing is too much effort for Debbie and Joe who spent the whole weekend setting up bell tents, moving their little caravan which they rent out and taking fire pits and wood to people.
Walking is fairly easy off of the site to either Porthleven or Praa Sands, although there is a bit more going on at Porthleven with a few more shops to pick up the essentials.
I look forward to going back for our next visit

Wonderful little site !
Debbie and Joe have worked incredibly hard to develop the site from what was apparently an overgrown wilderness into a beautiful oasis of calm.
The facilities are immaculate although until the new ones are finished they may be stretched a little if the site is full.
Dont expect EHUs as the site is 'off grid and this somehow seems to add to the tranquility.
The location is great-about a mile up the lane to the village where there is a garage and pub. There is a frequent bus service from here to Marizion or Helston.
Footpaths down to coast path either from the lane end at Trewavas Farm and then across the fields to Rinsey or from slightly back up Rinsey lane and across the field to Rinsey. (About 15 minutes for either) It is a short walk from here to the engine house used in some of the Poldark series on TV; continue the walk to Porth Leven- it is exceptional.
Overall excellent !

We stayed here for 3 nights over the early May bank holiday weekend. I called as we were doing the shopping in Helston on the Friday lunch and luckily Debbie said they still had a space left, so half an hour later we arrived.
A very friendly welcome from Debbie and Joe on arrival; and throughout our stay they were always busy doing something on site but always found time for a hello or a chat.
This really is a very nice, peaceful, relaxing and well kept site. Even though the site was full, the facilities were kept very clean and tidy.
The views are great and there are numerous footpaths from the site and of course the South West coast path just across the fields. Porthleven and Praa Sands were easy walks away, so the dogs were happy and tired out.
I'll be recommending the site to my friends and look forward to return visits ourselves.

There is not one bad word I can say about this campsite. Debbie and Joe the owners are so welcoming and have done an amazing job with this campsite. The pitches are very big with plenty of space, and the loos and shower is immaculate and up to a standard of some 5 star hotels. All dogs welcome with plenty of space to run round and nowhere they can escape and campfires are encouraged. We really struck gold in finding this site the views are something else and will be definitely returning as soon as possible. Thank you Debbie and Joe.

I stayed in Daisy Bell tent 17th -19th July 2017 for my daughters graduation. We had an amazing time, the views from the tent are breathtaking. The tent is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, this including a gas BBQ, fire pit, bench, picnic table, camping stove, kettle, kitchen utensils, tea, coffee, sugar and a cool box is supplied to keep the wine chilled. The shower facilities are excellent and are kept immaculate. The owners Debbie and Joe are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We are booked again for September and we are really looking forward to it.

This site has amazing views, unfortunately we picked the wrong week in June to actually appreciate them to the full.
The owners Debbie and Joe are very friendly, approachable, knowledge of the area and available when needed. It is a quite site which adds to its charm. The facilities are immaculate and the whole area is clean and tidy just what you need. It is located in a good area close to Porthleven.
We will definitely be visiting again next time in Cornwall and would highly recommend it for anyone else.

We stayed here in possibly the worst week weather wise this summer. However even rain and winds couldn't dampen the appeal of this pretty site. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The site is immaculate, with some of the best facilities we have seen on a campsite for a long time. The attention to detail adds to the sites charm. The views are amazing, the site is so peaceful, you become reluctant to leave camp! We feel the site is well priced, and we will definitely be returning next time we are in Cornwall.

This is a beautiful, peaceful campsite, with stunning sea views. The owners Debbie and Joe could not be more welcoming or helpful. Large flat pitches. Plenty of space for children to play. Immaculate toilets and shower. Good location for so many tourist spots and beaches. Fires encouraged-you can hire pig troughs to use as fire pits, they will even sell you logs! Free range ducks on site, eggs for sale. I cannot recommend this site highly enough-if it were closer to home I would go every month. We will return!
