 Lovely quiet site by a river. Jill and Vernon are excellent hosts and keep the facilities very clean.
They have a good understanding of what campers needs and have provided lots of little conveniences, like plenty of hooks and a fridge / freezer.
Only one shower, but the best on a campsite we experienced for many years. It's a pity you can't have an individual fire, but there is a fire pit.
The river is beautiful and excellent for swimming - clean and deep. The trees all around the site make it feel tucked away from the world and very relaxing.
It's an interesting area to explore and great for walking and cycling.
There is an excellent cafe up the road at Pont-rhyd-y-groes and the pub at Llanilar is good for food and beer (they do take-out beer to bring back to the site if you have a container).
Easy and cheap bus ride to Aberystwyth.
All in all, we had a lovely and very relaxing time.

Recently stayed here on a motorbiking trip to Wales, what a fantastic site.
I don't think you will find a cleaner campsite, and the owner Jill is really helpful with good knowledge of the area to advise you on where to go.
If you are looking for a quiet friendly site with stunning views and brilliant roads, this is the place for you.
I will definitely be back for another visit.

Camp site was lovely, very clean and well laid out. Very friendly,
I would definitely go back.
Problem with the postcode on the paperwork, could cause problems if you are towing, Told it would be corrected. Only reason it’s not a 10.

A pleasant place nestled beside a river with pathways down to it and trees on two sides. The owners live next door to their
Twenty pitch site, in which some of the grass pitches are on an incline and four hard standings. Most seem to have electric hook-up. There is only one shower (with toilet), the water is HOT, a toilet and urinals. Also has an outside dish washing area.
There is a compost toilet and a portaloo, too. The owners are cleaning the communal areas regularly.
There are two drinking water, grey and black waste drains and a dog wash.
The area is clean, neat and the owners are friendly and accommodating and their two dogs are friendly and relaxed. Access to the property and through the gates, is big enough for an American ex-military bus to get through. I know. I witnessed it.
The Cycle Route 81 passes right next to it, although not many cyclist on the road, lots of walks and some along the river. There is a village within 10 minute drive where restaurants provide take-away foods and a village shop for all you basic needs.

What a lovely site. Hoist where great, direct and to the point.
Very clean site, toilets, shower very clean.
A nice touche was giving each pitch a food waste bin. Good recycling area.
Great stay will go back again.

Lovely little site. Quite when we visited. Very clean and tidy. Lovely facilities.

On B Road but it didn't bother us.
Would definitely visit again but would probably visit in the low season

This was a CL site and has enlarged as a C&CC site in its first season.
The pitches were very level. Mainly grass with only two hard standing.
I saw 4 EHU points with water taps (on a push button system which was a bit of a pain. ) The whole site is in a protected lea right next to a river which you can hear at all times. There is direct access to a beautiful river walk.
Brand new shower block and the nicest one I've seen so far this year. Spacious, wet room style, with lots of hot water. Separate toilets very clean.
It was mid season price of £17 +£4 for EHU which wasn't cheap but the facilities were very good.
You are on a B road with a little traffic but you are near a sawmill which you can hear quite a bit with accompanying delivery lorries.
Would stay again, it's a welcoming site in a beautiful area.

Site was clean and tidy. Warm welcome and quickly completed the administration.
I arrived late but there was no problem contacting the proprietors and checking in.
