Most stuning views over the loch (upper level) this site is a must.
Inn close by 500 meters 'though didn't visit this time covid etc.
Well kept site with limited facilities but well worth a visit. 😊😊

We stopped here for one night when returning south from a trip to the far north west of Scotland.
It's a very nice little site and does now have pretty much all the facilities you might need including a toilet and shower, EHU, grey and black waste disposal and fresh water.
The nearby Creagan Inn is very good (including the food) and is also dog friendly.
The cycle route is also good for dog walking, and there looked to be plenty of other places to explore nearby.
Highly recommended - in fact we've already booked another couple of nights for our new year trip.

The site has loads of space between pitches, clean bathroom, and right next to the water which is lovely.
Easy walking distance to the nearby Creagan Inn which is dog friendly.
We love this place and will be back.

Our most recent discovery and what a wee gem! We've driven past it often but hadn't given it any thought until it was recommended. Fully serviced, hard standing pitches, well spaced with a south facing aspect right beside the shores of Loch Creran with direct access to the water from your pitch.
There is walking nearby to explore and the Creagn Inn which we didn't have time to visit on this occasion but will do on a future visit.
Facilities-wise, we always use our own in the van. There is a toilet but I didn't look in it, a chemical disposal point and a drive-over grey waste disposal facility.
There were two wheelie bins, one for general waste and one for "recycling" which appeared to encompass everything you might deem to be recyclable which someone somewhere must sort through.
This wasn't well explained for users who perhaps don't live in the same council area as the campsite (which we happen to do).
This is going to become one of our regular weekend getaway sites.

Lovely 7 pitch hard standing site, water and electric on each pitch
Loch side with excellent view. Owner and son very welcoming. Need to use own facilities. CDP and drive over waste. Close to road but not noisy at night.
Strolled along the disused railway, also walked along the cycle path towards Appin. Creagan inn a short stroll for a pint or two, food looked good but didn't sample.

Great site if you have your own toilet/ washing facilities (none on site). Views are spectacular with Loch Creran ahead and mountains behind.
There is a path/ cycletrack at the entrance that takes you for miles, so it's easy to see the local sights (eg Castle Stalker) by bike. The Creagan Inn (decent pub food) is 200 metres away.
We got 4G data on EE and Voda in Apr '18. Free WiFi at the Cregan Inn.
Launching kayaks was easy even at low tide, and we were investigated by the local seal population.
Water and electric at each of the 7, well-spaced and level pitches, with rubbish and chemical disposal near the entrance.
Price is good at £15/ night and owners are friendly and relaxed.
Sheep wander freely, so needed to keep dog firmly under control.
Will definitely return.

This is a new site of 7 good hard standings with electric hook up and water at each stance. We found this little gem which has beautiful waterside views and is within a very short walk to Creagan Inn which also has magnificent views. Lovely owners too! Looking forward to many return visits.

Small, relaxed, excellent site. Owner very helpful and friendly. Water and EHU to each pitch which are very well spaced apart. There is emptying point for Motorhomes and CDP. I spent two nights here. Very close to Oban so handy for pre ferry stop. The site is on shores of Loch Linnhe. It is situated on the cycle track so easy walking and cycling from the site. Not far from Glencoe, Port Appin etc. Plenty of places to visit within a short drive. Short walk to Creagan Inn if you want to eat out.
