Lovely site with very clean Toilet and Shower facilities. The owner is very friendly and the site is all flat.
The site is also right by the Trent and Mersey Canal, with nice Pubs, Bars to walk to, and the Marina's.
I will definitely book to go again! :-)

Great location near canal path and pub (The Bubble Inn). Can also walk along canal to Mercia Marina, which has a pub and Indian restaurant.
Great toilets and showers.
Would definitely recommend.
I'll be going there again, for sure.

Came to this campsite on the 1st of July for two nights with the kids and they enjoyed it
Spent the first night no electric camp which was brilliant and then spent the second night with electric, we enjoyed both nights but really does help to have the electric when you have small children
The owner was lovely very nice man
Will definitely be going back
The camp with no electric was definitely more for the party younger ages but they still wasn’t no problems, just everybody enjoying themselves
Showers was lovely and clean toilets
No problems
All in all definitely 10 out of 10

We were booked in for 2 nigts but only stayed 1 this site has so much potential to be a fantastic local site BUT it needs structure and rules putting in place and more thought to how its set out.
We were looking forward to staying and absolutely gutted we left after only 1 night but we just couldn't relax with all the kids running free around all the cars, caravans and motorhomes.
The main entrance needs looking at when leaving this site its basically on a blind bend just a simple curved mirror so you can see would be a simple solution to this.
The site facilities were basic but nice and clean and that's about all I can say about our stay unfortunately unless there some big changes we unfortunately will not be returning 😕

A fantastic site with great facilities in walking distance of Willington with local amenities.
Closer there is pub 3 mins walk away and curry house and outside bar 10 mins down the canal.
Starting to get busier, going to need the second field soon!

Great little site. The owner Tom, was as nice as the site. The pitches were mostly level with plenty of individual space. The ablutions were kept clean and tidy. There's a great free-for-all BBQ area with free charcoal etc. We did have to provide our own meat though!
When we were there, it was quite busy but not too busy as to cause a problem.
The site is great as a base for kayaking the river Trent and, as an added bonus, an Indian restaurant is only a 20 min walk.
Would definitely recommend and am already planning another stay there.

Very friendly owner, couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Excellent value for money. Toilets and showers very clean, washing up facility very clean and tidy.
Good sized plots, had EHU and never had any issues, the pub and canal and a cafe 5 minutes walk away, good friendly staff at pub and cafe, food good value for money.
Great place to stop off
