Lovely site, ample bathroom facilities, very clean.
Near to beach, 1/2 hour walk to a couple of dog friendly pubs.
Can see the benefits of visiting when we have grandchildren, lovely pool & play area for kids.
Didn't use the bar as only open weekends currently.

The site was really well kept. The toilets and facilities where cleaned regularly. It was busy but there was never to much noise. The play park in the middle was great, only downside was with it being a sand park all the children where constantly throwing sand at each other and trailing sand into the tents but they really enjoyed themselves.
There is also another park, football Court, tennis court and fishing lake over near the pool which they all enjoyed too. The Swimming pool was nice with a small flume in one pool, times had to be pre-booked and we only had one day that it was full and couldn't go.
There are plenty of shops local including supermarket so no need to worry about taking food with you. There is a small shop on site in case you run out and can't drive.
Theres a bar which allowed us to takeaway which was great.
There was plenty near by to do/visit. Great Yarmouth around 30 mins away, plesurewood hills was around 20 mins away and Africa alive was 7mins, much more to do locally just can't fit everything in so definitely worth looking online what else is around there.

First classed site with immaculately cleaned facilities! This was the first time we had stayed here and
We will definitely be returning!
The pitches were large, the contact from the site prior to our arrival was excellent and we were even offered to cancel our booking to another time as bad weather was forecast for the duration of our stay.
We have nothing but positive feedback for this site

A lovely site set in like a park with large, sheltered grass pitches. The site has its own outdoor heated swimming pool and bar though the bar was only open at weekends during our stay.
The beach can be walked to in five mins. But does involve some steep steps. Many footpaths nearby too, I walked to Kessingland village itself in about 30 mins.
The bus stop right by the site entrance is handy for trips to either Southwold or Lowestoft.
Toilets good and very quiet at night.

Lovely campsite! The shower block was spotless. You have a large wet room which includes toilet shower and wash basin with hand dryer and hair dryer. We always found these clean.
There are lots of activities on site:- swimming pools which we booked a slot for,
Fishing- my husband really enjoyed this well stocked pond
Play areas- my grand children loved these
A club house ( we didn’t go there)
And a beach just five minutes walk
All in all, I would definitely recommend this lovely campsite

This campsite is perfect for a family, there is a lot to do on site, two play areas, swimming pool with a flume slide, fishing lake (a bite every cast)
The beach is a little walk away but is great for surfing and a bar for evening drinks /food
The site and facilities were spotless and cleaned four/five times a day,
This site Is run at a very high standard buy May on reception. We will be returning for sure.

Just arrived back from an excellent weekend at Heathland.
Very impressed with the overall look and cleanliness of the site. Pitches are very spacious with good hedging around, and electric hook up and water adjacent to pitch.
Shower blocks very tidy and clean. Didn't use the pool but it looked very well presented and the water seemed quite warm.
The shop has limited essentials but there is a coop a 5 minute drive away.
The bar is very tidy with good stock. If you want to eat out would recommend the food at Livingstones, about a mile away.
Overall, an excellent site and will definitely use again

We love this place as a family, as go every May holidays. The weather is not guaranteed, but a clean and safe campsite is.
It's a short walk to the beach, a 10 minute drive to Lowestoft, and not far at all to the SeaLife centre.
On site there is an outdoor pool (don't be put off, in May we've had some scorching dips), a small shop, a bar (with an excellent kids disco on a Monday evening), big kids outdoor play area, outdoor sports area, fishing, small kids play area, BBQ area, laundrette, sheltered washing facilities, baby changer, family shower rooms.
I have never been to such a nice campsite before.
