Site is in a great location and they are clearly investing in new facilities. However while we were there during a very busy spring half term the management inexplicably insisted that everyone had to camp right next to each other even though there was loads of available space along one side of the field.
Guyropes from tents literally touching, no privacy or space. Yes it was a busy week but it could have been so better managed. No washing up facilities either resulting in people tipping buckets of water in hedges.
Probably this will be solved once new facilities are completed but not ideal with so many people. No shade but trees have been planted which once matured will be great.
Very expensive for what you get and the total lack of space and privacy. Could be great but this spoiled it for us.
Sunset on the beach is not to be missed same for the donuts from the stall on the beach. Heacham beach is grit not sand but there are stunning beaches further round the coast.

We wanted a post-covid weekend break and wanted to bring our dog for his first campervan and beach experience despite him being 14 years old. Also we wanted a site within 2 hours of home. Norfolk Coast B+B campsite seemed to fit the bill with its main attractions of 200 yards from the beach and all reviews saying how peaceful it was. I got a bit nervous when I googled a map close up for local directions and immediately realised there were hundreds of chalets and static caravans within touching distance. However I looked on the positive as none of the other reviews referred to this.
On arrival it certainly was close to the beach as we drove straight past it and had to make a you turn within yards of the beach. First impressions were a great disappointment. There was a lot of builders materials and rubbish at the farmhouse end of the site, certainly not the country feel I had been expecting. But we were allowed a pitch by the perimeter fence with views of the fields. It was then that I noticed the coastal defence mounds were that high that they prevented you from seeing the chalets across the road, and I began to feel that we were in a little piece of the countryside close to the beach.
Despite the untidyness there were all the necessary facilities – hook up, toilets and showers open, never far from a water point, recycling bins, so in effect it did do what it said on the tin.
As night fell, the silence became deafening. It was unbelievable how you could be so close to hundreds and hundreds of chalets and statics and yet…. It was silent. Just what we wanted.
Next day a short stroll to the beach, and. Yes it went for miles in both directions with hardly anyone on it.
Later it was a shame that a tradesmans van pitched up next to us, when he had almost all of the rest of the site to choose from. Particularly as there were never more than eight vans on the site for the whole weekend.
Slowly despite my earlier hesitations about the site I found it began to grow on me, and it was a nice gesture by the owner to walk around on the Sunday morning greeting the campers, and we were offered some fresh eggs laid overnight by the chickens that wandered around the site unperturbed by the campers dogs.
I feel that when the building work is complete it will be a little oasis in a sea of chalets, so maybe I am being a little harsh, but for what we had, the price was simply excessive even though we booked a campervan pitch and were allowed to stay on a motorhome pitch for my 2 nights at £86. If I had gone straight for a motorhome pitch they wanted £134 for van, electric and dog. Even a caravan club site with nail clipped borders wouldn't cost that. Maybe that's why there were only 8 vans there on saturday night.
I might consider visiting again when its finished, but not at those prices.

This site is all about location.
This is a grass field, 5 minutes to Heacham beach and walks. It’s a new site, as yet incomplete. We were given a warm welcome.
Facilities still being built. We had toilets and a shower. There was electric hook up but an extra £10 per night!
The site is very expensive, £54 per night plus £3 per dog.
I’m sure once complete it will be fabulous.

This is a good back to basics, simple campsite. Great location for the beach, only 5 minutes walk away. Nice rural views too. Clean shower block and good Covid safety precautions in place.
Friendly, like minded campers, (mostly camper vans while we were there. ) All enjoying the old school simplicity and freedom. Camp fires, starlight, peace and quiet. Lovely.

Lovely campsite, friendly owners, excellent location! Toilets and showers clean. We had a fab time.
Just a fair bit more expensive than we are used to for a campsite. Especially as we had a family pitch that doesn't take into consideration the number of campers (it was only myself and my 7 year old son staying)

The campsite was lovely easy to find and easy to pitch. The owners and staff are amazing anything you needed to know they are the go to people.
If you don't have any wood or firepit they can supply them for a reasonable fee so no bulky fire pits needed.
Good facilities with a hot shower area and outside hot and cold sink for washing up.
Good pub down the road for food and drink and a good base to explore from.
Hunstanton and sandringham are both only 45 to 50 mins away and Norfolk lavender does a great cooked breakfast on the way.

I was looking for a back to basics site for 3 nights camping, and I found it at Marsh view. This is a new site and is a work in progress so don't expect everything to be perfect.
The owner greeted me when I arrived and told me where the shower/ toilet block was and to take my pick of where to set up. I wanted peace and quiet and this site has it just what I needed, I will be re-visiting this site again, hope they don't spoil it,
Less than 10 mins walk to the beach and less than 10 mins walk to the nearest shop (open 06. 30 to 22. 00) 7 days aweek
