A lovely little campsite, a hidden gem really! Laid back and relaxed, the facilities are good with plenty of shower options.
Nice to see grassy pitches that are not perfectly lawned, lots of wild flowers and “weeds” around.
The beach is just up the road, a mix of sand and stones, dog friendly! The sunsets are beautiful of an evening and not to be missed.
The prices keep the riffraff out, this is a campsite for hikers, campervans and dog lovers that want to camp right on the beach without all the fuss and frolicks of manicured campsites…
We will be back!

Most of two families in two tents had a fantastic weekend !
Weather could have been better but you can't blame the site for that !
Lovely location and everything you need.
Will be back as soon as we can. Thanks.

I thought as the location (near the beach) and the price (£60 +per night for me and a big tent) I would get get a lovely clean and relaxing experience. Oh how wrong can you be.
The site looks like a breakers yard, the toilets and showers were mediocre at best.
Owners were indifferent to some borderline unsafe behaviour with a fire pit.
I left the next day and was able to get a pitch next door at a proper no frills, peaceful and clean site.

Owner very nice can't say the same for the camp site. If the price reflected the facilities I could go along with it as the saying goes you get what you pay for.
We were charged £25 for 1 night with no electric if you had hook up it was £38 unbelievable. We had just left the most amazing campsite with Fantastic facilities all for £26.
This was basically not wanting to be rude steptoes yard. Oh and there is no seaview just views of a very sad rundown campsite that is way way overpriced
Save your money and wild camp coz that's basically what you get

We were excited to stay at Hunstanton Camping and Glamping, but were so, so disappointed when we arrived, although the man running it was very helpful and friendly.
As we’d paid more than £50 per night we were expecting a premium site, but it’s actually very very basic and nothing like the photos on their website.
As it is still obviously new and being built it felt like a construction site and was a bit on the scruffy side with piles of wood and bricks and rusty equipment everywhere.
Also only cold water for doing dishes, only two showers for entire site.
We thought it was unbelievably expensive for what it was.
Beach isn’t even all that - pretty stony and muddy.
Lots of caravan holiday type parks nearby which don’t really help the atmosphere.
Felt totally ripped off and would never stay there again, not at those prices.

Far too overpriced £81 to add an awning for 2 nights is well over the top !
The location was quiet, and the owners were friendly.
Maybe we were overcharged?

I have left this review until now, so that it will be uppermost in campers minds when booking, to avoid them having a terrible holiday experience. We unfortunately booked this site for seven nights, it is on in the Camping and caravan certificates sites, so we thought giving it respectability. When booking the fees were far higher than advertised, when queried was informed that it was market forces, due to everyone wanting to get away. As no other site in the area had any availability booked at 35 a night and 15 a night electric. On arrival was told another 250 pounds was due as l had booked a motorhome not caravan n addition to the 350 pounds. For the seven nights. I refused to pay the extra As l knew l. Had booked the correct outfit. The owner eventually retracted it. Our experience was
1. The urinals three, one out of order, one not plumbed in, there were additional toilets in another building the washing of hands were two outside wooden barrels filthy sinks on top and cold water, remember this was covid times.
2. The building with toilets and washbasins on had a cursory sweep out. The two washbasins had notices on them do no use. This building also housed two showers in what reminded you of two of the old fashioned coal houses, no temperature control either. Not or cold, when the water on the floor reached a certain level it ran out into the yard. There were additional galvanized steel boxes in the camping field, with wooden boards on the grass, these were the outdoor showers same temperature control hot or cold and the water ran into the camping field.
3. Disposable toilet tank, no lid and leaked, nice smell on a hot day.
4. Washing up facilities had to be seen to be believed filthy sink unit tops on legs, cold water only, with a pipe into a bucket, when bucket full. Owner or staff just threw it onto the grass complete with food waste etc. Talk about health, never mind the safety.
5. The pitches were wooden railway sleepers, to denote pitches, but moved as and when more campers arrived to pack in, especially when you were out. We had on two sides outfits less than six feet away and a fence to the rear, the outfits were three deep so in a emergency the middle camper couldn’t get out.
6. Thank goodness we were in a caravan as the tenters were issued with a dirty orange bucket yo use for washing up and washing.
7. The pathways are just builders rubble thrown down with glass in, great for children. Bobs are overflowing, rarely emptied
8. This site is advertised on Camping And Caravan Site Book together with a large poster stating the fact. On telephoning them, they had, had many complaints and the sire is under investigation.
9. We also went to Heacham Council who again had received many complaints, to find out that the site has no planning permission and they are working through the rules to have it removed.
10. This site pays no regards to health and safety for campers, l do wonder if anything serious happens whether campers would be insured through the site due to the above.
I have many photographs to substantiate this review.

The owners had packed us in tightly over the bank holiday weekend and eased slightly afterwards.
The site is in progress!
There are only two showers and for most of the time you were queuing for quite some time.
The electrics kept tripping at the main fuse box especially during the busy periods.
The site is ‘Basic’ and the local beach is not very nice - more stone and mud than sand.
The owner Nigel is pleasant and does try but I would not be staying here again because of the lack of facilities.

Great little campsite near the beach,
We had poor weather but the campsite did all they could to ensure we kept smiling and have a good time, which we did :)

The beach really is on the door step of this Campsite in Hunstanton, a dog friendly beach too! In the evening we took a walk further down the coast and were entirely on our own for a few hours.
The view from our tent looking out of the marshes was so beautiful, the skies are so huge here in Heacham, such a nice change from the city, we actually saw the stars.
We had a campfire right by our tent and were able to have a BBQ (the little shop down the road has some disposable ones)
The showers and toilets were kept very clean, lot's of loo roll and hand soap, they had lots of plug sockets to that we were able to use for a hair dryer and to charge your phone.
The site is right by the beach, very quiet and isn't overlooked by the awful holiday parks, the is a true countryside campsite surrounded by wildlife, we can't wait to come back later in the year
