Nice family run site. Easy access to A358. Showers clean and hot.
Owners are trying very hard to encourage wildlife and this shows with pond and Bee Bank.
On the list to revisit.
Only constructive and by no means a moan is might need more showers if become even more popular.

Stayed with a group of mountain bikers to ride the Quantocks. It is a well placed site with good clean facilities.
The pitches were level and well maintained. As we were a group, we were given a paddock to ourselves which included covered kitchen area that had a fridge/freezer and barbecue facilities. There were bench seats and a fire pit area to sit around too.
The owners of the site were very friendly and helpful trying their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The Rising Sun pub had just opened with new landlord - the beer was excellent (didn't try the food).
We enjoyed our stay so much we have made a provisional booking for next year.

Had the most loveliest night away thanks to the two polite and helpful owners. They guided us on a perfect walk and had great recommendations.
The campsite is in a great location with stunning entrances to the Quantocks. Perfect for hikes or biking. There is a Co-Op near by (5 min drive).
There were good facilities and a top class shower! Logs, bbq and eggs available. We felt so peaceful pitched up right in front of a pond, listening to the birds. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Despite the awful weather, this site was lovely, and sheltered from the howling wind.
I can't speak for the local pubs but there is a short walk around the edge of the site with a seat half way round. We spent time sitting by the pond and admiring the goldfish and tadpoles as well.
Facilities were spotless and very good although, as this is a new site, the shower could get very busy in the summer.
The owners are lovely and friendly and we came home with eggs from their own chickens. It did seem a bit expensive at £24 a night including electric hook up but, having said that, I rejected a nearby site at £28 per night!
Steart Marsh is nearby and we enjoyed a day out there.
Highly recommend!

Despite the rain, this our first camping experience for many years, was an enjoyable experience.
Jane and hubby were pleasant, attentive and available: the site was clean and the facilities as you would expect.
Thank you Both!

Lovely well maintained site, very welcoming and helpful hosts. We were allocated our own toilet and shared a scrupulously clean shower room.
The only problem for us was the road noise, the camping part of the site is right alongside a busy, noisy road.
We will revisit this site but we'll rent the pod or shepherd's hut because it's far enough away from the road !
We spent three days there and it was perfectly located for some stunning walks, the Quantock Hills are beautiful.
