I made a group booking some time ago for a small motorcycle ride event I was arranging. I had excellent communication with Karen throughout the whole process and met with Jane some weeks before the event.
At the very last minute arrangements changed as one of our riders booked a pod, so instead of a meadow, we erected eleven tents around the glamping area. The whole experience was extremely well handled, amicable and friendly and the outcome was superb, everyone who attended to ride weekend enjoyed it.
The two outdoors showers were much commented on as being clean, hot, quirky and interesting. The toilet carriage was kept spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water.
From a tent dwellers point of view the ground was in great conditions, the grass wash short and the tent pegs went in with a little foot pressure and held well.
Quantock is a great little site and all our guys and gals had a really enjoyable stay.

We have stayed here before and this is an update on the site. The site has undergone a lot of changes and all have been for the better.
An idyllic site within easy reach of amenities and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
I highly recommend a stay here. Even if setting up a tent or towing a caravan is not for you there are a range of shepherd's huts, a camping pod, chalet and a luxurious bell tent available to stay in.
Perfect for a relaxing getaway. All facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
I unreservedly recommend the site to all. Even those that would normally not consider camping for a short break or a longer stay.
We intend to return again and again as we feel so refreshed after being here.

A very friendly and dog friendly site. We had exclusive use of the BBQ field which included the BBQ hut which has a fridge freezer, tables, and lights. There are also fire pits available.
The enclosed field had rails that were too wide apart so we couldn’t let the dogs off in there, but there was a nice walk around the site and plenty of longer walks from the site.
There are also glamping units available which was ideal for our families who would normally camp, as we visited at the end of October.

An excellent Campsite situated in beautiful countryside.
The Campsite is well laid out with plentiful clean facilities. All that is missing in my view is laundry facilities. Needed for those staying a week or so and for those with children especially in inclement weather.
There are walks on the doorstep and the Quantock Hills are a short drive /ride away. Exmoor is also easily accessible.
There is also the West Somerset Steam Railway

Excellent family run campsite superbly kept and spotlessly clean, perfectly situated at the foot of the stunning Quantock hills.
Lovely local owners who went beyond the call of duty to make sure our stay was perfect, ty.
Amazing night skies ( when clear) and yes you are near a main road but near a bus stop for regular buses to all the lovely pubs so you can sample the wonderful Exmoor ales.
Thank you Karen & family, we will be back

Beautiful site, well run clean and owners friendly.
Only draw back is the busy road adjacent to the site,
Quite noisy but never the less would recommend.

The site is well laid out and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The grounds are attractive and the facilities are clean. The large covered area with a large table is equipped with sinks and a tall fridge freezer means that those with a tent can prepare food and eat undercover when it is raining.
The washing machine and dryer were not available when we stayed. It is hoped that this facility will be provided again soon as those staying for extended periods would greatly benefit. Those with young children would also appreciate the ability to wash and dry clothes.
Overall, the campsite is great with a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. I thoroughly recommend it for all types of campers.

Oh my goodness such a lovely stay!
The owners were on hand for anything we needed. Felt very safe and relaxed.
Would definitely return even if it was just to use the amazing showers.

Lovey site in heart of Quantocks. Easy access to walking trips etc. We were offered to pitch our tent in the meadow complete with wild flowers and grass. A lead for electric hook and water was extended through the hedge! We loved it! Made us feel in our own little world.
Next door camping/ caravan field has a hut with wash up facilities and fridge freezer, always a bonus, especially as we arrived during a heat wave!
Toilet and shower facilities excellent. Clean with plenty of space.
We loved the 'Outside' Shower set up in the 'Glamping' field.
The only drawback was the site is next to a main road which has busy traffic till quite late in the evening and early morning. This did not spoil our stay though. But thought it should be mentioned.
Need to drive 3/4 miles to nearest shops for food/ pub etc. Or long walk to West Bagborough. Bigger stores in Taunton (7 miles) We got a reasonable Chinese take away from nearest village.
Loved star gazing in un light polluted sky during early hours.
