A fantastically priced site within easy reach of surrounding towns of note. Very close to Bournemouth airport but the aircraft noise wasn't too bad and nothing too early/late.
Electric supply fine and reasonably priced as water, waste disposal points well secured and organised. If you're precious about ablutions at your rigid time in the morning then possibly a short wait. Otherwise stagger yourself and you won't have a wait!
On the topic of toilet/showers, they were immaculately clean ever single time we used them. It's a massive credit to the team to achieve this. For which we are grateful.
Highly recommend this site and the only possible improvement could be a light at the washing up area and the addition of hot water.
We will stay again when in the area 👍🏻

Excellent! Standard campsite, plenty of space. Good standard of facilities, perhaps one or two more toilets and showers wouldn’t go amiss but, kept to a very clean standard throughout the day.
Nothing specific for kids (no playground) but we weren’t looking for that so don’t feel it’s a negative. The space allowed kids to ride bikes and play boules.
Excellent pub within 10mins walk. We enjoyed being close to the airport, kids loved being close to the runway.
Excellent location to access new forest and the coast.
Would definitely visit again.

Overall very good campsite and we will likely stay again.
Its very conveniently located with easy access to main routes for Bournemouth, Poole and further afield.
Owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Campsite is very well laid out and maintained, all flat pitches with plenty of EHU points dotted around. The only point of note for pitching is that the campsite is on a relatively busy road.
We pitched towards the bottom of the site and it was quite noisy with traffic, I imagine it was much quieter at the top of the campsite.
Toilets and showers were very clean, however there are only one male and female toilet and shower.
It was mostly quiet however on busier days, particularly in the morning you often had to queue. I think the site would benefit from extra toilets and showers.

This is a lovely little well kept site. The staff are really helpful and most pitches have access to electricity that costs around £1 per day via a token.
What does let this site down though is the facilities. There is one shower and toilet for males and one shower and toilet for females and it's just not enough, especially as their were mainly tents on the site. There was often a queue outside to use the facilities.
The facilities are in a portacabin type structure and were clean and warm but I did have to go to reception to ask for the toilet roll to be replenished just after I had seen the facilities being cleaned. The shower was cold. My daughter had a shower before me and was lucky enough to have a few minutes of warn water but then it went cold and was still cold when I used the shower. Both times I used the shower the water was cold.
I definitely think this site would be onto a winner if it built a proper facility block, it's in a good location and there are several pubs serving food along the same road and it's driving distance to Bournemouth and Boscombe.
The road is a bit loud at night but there are some beautiful horses in the fields overlooking the site.
All in all a nice friendly site but please extend the facilities and sort out the showers.

Just spent a lovely 5 night stay at The Homestead. Immaculate facilities, plenty of space for pitches and level ground; well kept.
Friendly, warm welcome.
