We have been to this lovely quiet camp site for the past three weeks as we have simply fallen in love with the site and the local area.
The site is well located close to shops, cafes and pubs. All the locals are extremely friendly, with our puppy, Bryn, being identified often before my partner and I.
The owners keep an immaculate site and are always friendly and helpful. the owner is very mindful of noise and disruption on the site.
The site has no facilities for children playing (apart from some large fields), which tends to discourage parents with young children. This is a bonus for people like us. There is also the open river bank (beautiful) which could put some parents off.
There is a washing machine and freezer which can be used by campers and also a pay-phone. DO NOT expect to get a mobile signal in this special corner of the world. (this is also great!)
Dogs are welcome and there is plenty of space to walk them in the fields next to the site. Dogs are also welcomed in the 2 local pubs, The White Hart and The Three Horseshoes (which are both excellent), and the Nag's Head toward Boncath (1. 5 miles away - Also excellent)
Cost as per June 2014 - £18 per night for 2 in a tent, plus a small dog. Regular visitors to the site inform me that cheap deals can be done for campers wishing to leave their tents or touring caravans there during the week, unattended.

We visited this site for four nights with a group of friends, fifteen in all. We pitched by the river which is used by fly fishermen. We got very excited watching a kingfisher going up and down.
The pitches were level and decent, so I for one slept very soundly without any gravity issues! There was plenty of room for the children to play catch in the centre of the field, and there is another field where dogs can be walked.
The site is fairly small, with a few statics, and a dozen or so permanent caravans. It was very quiet and peaceful, with very occasional road noise from the other side of the river, though that was barely noticeable. Showers and toilets were adequate and decent, with access by key. There was a washing up sink outside under cover which had hot and cold. On the other side of the block was a laundry room with freezer. Plenty of EHU if you need it, though not immediately by the river.
Rita the owner was very nice, though does like children to be well behaved!
An excellent site well worth visiting.
The village is five minutes walk away, around the waterfalls and bridge over the River Teifi. The National Coracle museum is just up the road, where the manager gave us a short talk, and got all the children interested. There is a shop, two pubs and two cafes. The bright pink one has an icecream parlour downstairs, and upstairs we had excellent and good value afternoon teas and lunches.
Cardigan is about 7 miles away, and Newcastle Emlyn about 2. Both have banks and nice shops.
The Coracle fish and chip shop (towards Cardigan) was brilliant.
Poppit Sands has rock pools, and a good tea shop which also does take-out tea etc, but the carpark fills up so get there early. Your all day ticket is valid in several place too.

Just had a quiet weekend at this wonderful site, the owners are top notch. The shower block is the best I have ever seen, no wonder they have a Gold Award for this year already.
5 minutes to the pub can't be bad. Very easy walking distance to the Falls and the various fishing spots along the river. Will definitely return later in the year.

Spent 2 nights on this beautiful Campsite with our 2 year old son and didn't want to go home. Toilets/Showers are spotless, Key only entry which stops randoms using them! Stones throw away from the Falls and more importantly two lovely pubs!
Tried to book to go back Bank Holiday but fully booked. Would recommend to anyone. Dogs welcome on a lead but there is a lovely dog walk along the river. If it had a small playground it would be perfect!

Stunning ! It's the only word I can use. A beautiful place. You can walk to the falls which are amazing to see. The site is the cleanest I have ever stayed on. Toilets are locked with a key so that they are only used by people on site fab idea.
Owners are great so friendly and helpful. Really nice local pubs for food. We pitched the tent by the river which runs through the site. The most relaxing weekend I have had in ages. Will definitely be back and will recommend it to everyone I know. Well done argued you have a first class site.

Well having bought a new tent, we decided to find a fairly local site, yet could offer a nice location.
We were lucky to find this site, the location, just a 5 minute walk from the magical cenarth falls, with the teifi river runnig along side the camping field, this site certainly has a great location.
Having arrived on quite a windy afternoon, we struggled erecting the tent, the owner, who was cutting the grass came over to help us, he also told us to bring our airbeds to his farm, as ok I forgot our pump, and pumped them up for us.
The facilities there are fantastic, spotless and perfectly maintained, lack of really hot tap water stopped me given 10 out of 10 though.

We pre-booked and were advised to pitch next to the river. There was only a small area that was not occupied by caravans or motor homes and we had a lovely pitch on the river bank.
It was not clear if the adjacent field was for camping as it was designated for ball games and dog exercising. The site was recommended by a work colleague and we will certainly recommend and revisit. Everything previously written about the facilities are still true, they were immaculate.
The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Nature Reserve at Cilgrrran is certainly worth visiting, lunch is served in the Glasshouse Caffi 12-2. 30 and canoe rides can be booked with Heritage Canoes.

One of the best sites we have ever seen, toilet block immaculately kept, well worthy of awards that it has awarded. Really liked the idea of the keys, stopped non patrons on the site using the facilities and kept standards high. Such a warm welcome from Mr and Mrs Owens.
Everything you need in the village e,g shop, pubs tea rooms and really friendly locals. Cant wait to come back later on in the season. Highly recommended to anyone of any age. Just want to add that the reason the site did not rate high for child friendliness is because the site is situated on a river bank but baby changing facilities were available.

Stunning site, great location and peaceful. The welcome we had when we arrived was excellent. The toilet block is the best I have ever seen at a campsite. Tiled floor to ceiling. The sinks each have a nail brush which are co-ordinated, attention to detail by the owners. There are liquid soap containers not the usual messy bars. Absolutely spotlessly clean, as another camper said to me 'it is so clean you could eat off the floor'
The site is located on the banks of the river Teifi. There are 2 pubs and a store/post office in the village which is a 2 minute walk from the gates of the site. Cenarth falls are also a short walk, perhaps 3 minutes from the entrance to the site.
The owners have raised the standard of facilities at campsites but in return demand high standards from their clients. Long may this continue as this makes the holiday so much more pleasurable.
This was our second visit this year and we will be visiting again and the sooner the better.

Just returned from a very relaxing night at this site. As it is early in the year we were the only ones on the site. Having picked which hardstanding we wanted, we decided to walk up to the reception to get the key to the toilet block as we wanted to stretch our legs and give our little dog a walk. It is quite a steep walk but the country views are worth it. The owners daughter came out to meet us and gave us the key and asked if we could return it in the morning.
There is a little village shop two minutes away, and just a little further up the road a petrol station with a large mini market. There are two village pubs serving very good food. The white heart pub even put a gas bottle in their patio heater so that we could have a meal outside as we had the dog with us. It was lovely waking up in the morning to the sound of the river and the singing of birds, so peaceful. Great to have the shower blocks all to ourselves in the morning, they were spotless, warm and very homely, one of the best we've been to. We cant wait to return to this site. Hope it will be sooner rather than later. Would really recommend this site if you want to get away from it all.
