Loved the remoteness of the site. Very friendly host who gave a fabulous explanation of the surrounding area and the things to do.
Lovely walks and very near the beach.
We didn’t use the facilities on offer at the Community Centre but what a great option.
Definitely on the return list for future trips.

Quite and laid back, some quirky little features and fire pit area,
Lovely helpful friendly couple, we felt safe and left more relaxed.
You can have a shower at the community centre, clean, very hot showers, for a small charge and also empty chemical waste was for a small charge, staff friendly and helpful.
Football social club, across the field or short walk around the road welcoming and friendly.
Recommend Uncle’s Croft, it’s a lovely peaceful location.

Great site and lovely couple who couldn't be more helpful will visit again.
Great location to visit the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse and also some stunning beaches.
Also lucky enough to see a white tailed Eagle which are often seen in the area.

Where do I start, the owner Debbie was a lovely host. She made us feel so welcome and was a fountain of helpful knowledge.
The site is quirky and so fun, our kids were in fits of giggles when they seen the hot tub and bank machine lol.
I wont give it all away but the Butt of lewis was our favourite part of our tour.

Lovely people, wonderful location,
Close to the amazing scenery and beautiful beaches,
Also large playground for kids,
Close to the sports centre so if you don't have your own shower and toilet you can use it for just few pounds.

What a lovely quirky place to stay, vans well spaced out, no campsite rules very laid back,
Although no facilities the sport centre offers all the required facilities if desperate
Was very pleasant and the owner recommended to me a few walks from the croft,
Would definitely visit again and recommend.
Well done in creating something unique

Absolutely brilliant site. Owners could not have been more welcoming or helpful, especially John. No frills but very quirky site.
The fire pit is brilliant. John restocks with kindling and peat every day and you free to use with the other campers.
Great walks directly from site and showers and chemical waste are either a very short drive or 15 min walk away in local community centre.
Will be first site booked when we return to Lewis.

Delightfully quirky site well placed for some stunning walks. It’s very windy!
The owners were friendly and made helpful suggestions.
The local friendly sports centre provides dump facilities and showers for £4 and £3 respectively.
