Nice clean small site.
Didn't like the fact that workmen lived in caravans on the site, it wasn't truly a holiday retreat place!
Cheap wifi.
Facilities ok for such a small site.
Lots of pubs nearby but some looked expensive when we looked at their websites.
Good base for Norfolk.
Not sure we would return though.
No off lead dog walking area which was a shame.
Would we recommend? Probably not with work, en living there. It spoilt it for us.

We stayed here over this Easter holiday. Couple of things:-
We were expecting a hard standing pitch, but ended up on a grass pitch under trees. This was acceptable, however, the pitches were right around the back end of the site amongst the caravan storage area and where the owner puts his 'long term' visitors, which looked to us as though they were people that either lived in them year round or were staying in their caravans whilst they worked nearby.
Don't get me wrong, we all need a place to live, but when you have paid good money for a nice break, this was a definite minus for this site. The storage vans looked as though they had been there for years and were all tatty and green and even the workers vans were old and the awnings were green and in a very bad state of repair.
That said, the site as you first enter was lovely and with big hard standing pitches. The toilet block was adequate and clean with only 2 showers for both men and women and 4 wash areas each. However, they were clean and the shower cubicles were plenty big enough.
The site was clean enough and close to big Sainsburys and Norwich, but I have to say it was rather ruined by the pitches we were given which for the record were 20 and 21. TV reception was great and the Wifi worked well.
Would we return? A resounding NO.

Our second visit to this lovely well run site and we hope to return many more times. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we feel that this site offers extremely good value for money. The toilets/showers are really clean and free of charge. Wifi is available at a very small extra cost.
The site is within easy reach of Norwich and as other reviews have said there is a large Sainsburys and other stores a few minutes drive away.
A fantastic site, one of the nicest we have stayed on, value for money exceeds 10 out of 10 and only marked down child friendliness due to pond, but great for adults

Had a nice stay at this site. Nice large hard standing pitch. Do not follow the postcode on the website! We did. And ended up down a road where he had to un hitch to turn the caravan round. Next door told us its actually the owners house??? And the site is down the road. Only a few tiny problems with the site. Some where to place your shampoo and shower gel. If you have not got a bottle with a hook it has to go on the floor. Be warned when the owner comes round to collect the money make sure you add it up before he does. £14 a night. Total £56 minus the £20 deposit. Should of worked out £36 but he asked us for £26. Not complaining. Oh and pitch 14 next door to the trees after an hour of trying. No tv signal or satellite

What a lovely little site. Glad I had read reviews here that encouraged us to book. Really peaceful place - we sat beside van in lovely hot sun and watched as sheep had 'twins' in the field adjacent to site!
Definitely some of best shower blocks we have used - big shower rooms with seat and plenty of vanity cubicles plus underfloor heating.
There is a small grassy glade at front of site which is great for quick dog walk but other than that walking along road bit dodgy as narrow and no paths. Would suggest one needs some form of transport (we tow a car) as not near to anything.
Turn left out of site and couple of miles there is big Retail park with huge Sainsburys and Range etc. Also there is the Park and Ride into Norwich.
For eating we can highly recommend Queens Head in Hethersett - lovely people, great food and big sunny patio area -need to book for busy times.
Excellent site and all at 2011 prices!

My wife and I have stayed at this site about 5 or 6 times during the past three years and always look forward to going back to this lovely peaceful site.
The owner is always very welcoming and obliging. The toilet/shower block is one of the best that we have encountered (we have been caravan/motorhome owners for at least 20 years so have been to a lot of sites!).
Good value for money and convenient for Norwich and the Broads. Although some of the access roads to the site are a bit narrow in places, we have not found this to be a problem.
We look forward to returning later this year.

We stayed on this site over the Easter weekend. It was a lovely small, well run site with excellent facilities. The toilet block was heated and very clean.
The owners came around each day to make sure everything was ok and were very helpful.
The site was in easy reach of Norwich and there were a few pubs nearby.
A list of local pubs/restaurants was put up on a board together with other local information. WFI is available at a small cost and you need to ask the owner for the code.
We will be visiting again in the near future.

Just spent 4 nights at this lovely little site. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Good sized pitches and well maintained.
Toilet block was very good, with large shower cubicles, and well maintained. There was a free microwave and fridge/freezer for campers to use, and even DVDs to borrow.
Commercial size washing machine and dryer were coin in the slot.
Prices were also reasonable, although higher than the website showed - electric pitch fee is £10, not £7. 50, but other website prices were correct.
I shall definitely return to this site.

We stayed for a weekend. £10 per night inc EHU £2 per Adult £1 per child 50p for the awning.
You set up camp and the man will come to you for payment. (cash). Reminded me of Carry on camping as the man taking money was a bit like the one on the film.
A quiet site with a nice toilet block, Laundry £3 per load and 30p for the tumble, A fridge for campers use and two kitchen sinks (not the cleanest) and a friendly cat too. There are several permanent residents in scruffy touring caravans at the far end of the site.
The approach to the site is a bit narrow and approaching traffic came at us a little fast. The site is easy to find and is well sign posted (brown caravan / tent signs).
We thought the hardstandings (which are the same price as the grass) were a little too close together. If it weren't for the opposite caravanners being friends it would have been very awkward to manoeuvre the caravan on / off pitch. The pitches are level. Don't forget stone pegs if you are erecting an awning.
The site itself is next to a small river and has an 'ornamental' pond in the middle (not very ornamental) we were worried we'd be eaten alive with mosquitoes but we weren't. There are conker trees and some fruit trees edging the site. There is a meadow next to the site for games and dog walking (there are dog waste bins).
The office is unmanned and you find your allocated pitch written on a form on the table. You can buy FR eggs, second hand books, cuddly toys and some DVDs from there using an honesty box.
Turn Left out of the site and follow the road to the end (2-3 miles)to get to a large retail park with a big Sainburys, KFC, pizza Hut, McDonalds and several shops including the Range (which is good for camping accessories).
I Don't think I will rebook this site as I felt I couldn't relax with the children because of the surrounding water.
Good as a base to explore. Not good for young children.

Booked this site to stay whilst we visited friends. During the booking phone call, the owner gave us the correct postcode for the satnav, it was correct to the last road end, when we picked up the brown signs. The owner had said to choose a pitch, and he would call in the evening for the payment, which he did.
The touring area which is near the entrance has some hard standing, plus a field with some marked pitches and an open area for tents. The pitches are all flat, and there is EHU to the marked pitches. At the far side of the site, hidden from view, are statics.
The sanitary block is in the centre of the site, the facilities are of a very high standard and very clean. The washing up room also has a laundry, fridge and microwave for campers use.
This is a lovely site for those who like peace and quiet. If you need pubs and restaurants, there are plenty in the villages round about, we didn't try any of them.
As the attractions of Norwich are quite close, and the coast not too far, this is a good central site for visiting Norfolk. We would definitely return, and the price was moderate too.
