We stayed on this site for 5 nights, lovely little place, quiet and very peaceful. The owners were very helpful, we arrived too early but they let us set up anyway.
Toilets and showers were very clean. Washing up facilities were good with a microwave and fridge for the people with tents. It was great, will go back again definitely.
Also a big Sainsbury not far down the road, along with The range, argos etc.

Nice campsite, good position, nice size plots and the owners were very helpful providing a small brochure of the local area, pubs, eating places etc.
Easier to find if you are coming from the A47 junction at the Roayal Norfolk showground
Nice toilet block and showers
A 3 mile bike ride to the big shops, sainsburys, argos etc and Mc D's and Pizza hut if you feel energetic.
The park andn ride into Norwich did not run on Saturday, but you can get a bus from near pizza hut into town around 3 quid, taxi was quoted as £12.
Would definitely go back again later in the year.

I just needed a stopover for one night, and rang the number listed to ask availability.
The gentleman at the other end of the phone said he had a hard standing near to the entrance, which would be perfectly suitable for me, £9.50 a night with electricity, that was good for me.
Use the post code he supplied me with if you are using a GPS (NR9 5HU) and then pickup on the brown campsite signs, as the post code on this site just lands you in the middle of Barford, when the campsite is nearer to Marlingford.
The toilets/Showers were clean, there was a chap there who welcomed me and pointed out my pitch, and the owner popped round early evening to collect payment, and was very pleasant.
Good position for the Norfolk Showground, which was where I was heading, lots of wildlife flying around, nice dog walk, free range eggs available in reception.
Nice place, I will be re visiting, hopefully in the summertime.

We stayed at Swan's Harbour for 12 nights whilst our daughter was in the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital for major surgery. Whilst planning the stay, the dates we needed changed as the operation date was altered twice, but the owners were friendly and flexible, and continued to be throughout the time we were there.
The site is only 5 miles from the hospital, and proved a calm and tranquil space for us at what was a very stressful time. The landscaping is lovely, yet the natural delights of the area have not been over-managed.
We did not make use of any local facilities such as pubs, but there is plentiful information available on site. The supermarket, McDonald's, and a range of shopping outlets are only 5 miles away on the outskirts of Norwich.
The facilities - toilets, privacy cubicles and showers - are excellent, clean and spacious - larger cubicles make it easy to manage children's showering, and plenty of hooks to hang clothes and towels on. Cleaning took place at least once a day, depending on need (after grass cutting / rainy weather it happened more frequently).
There are good washing up facilities, a fridge for campers to use, and washing machine and dryer. Waste water and toilet disposal facilities are easy to use, and the site recycles glass, paper and cans. The little reception area carries a handful of essential items (for when you find you've left the tin opener, the dog's bowl, or your cutlery at home) and a nice line in second hand books and jigsaws which for a very modest fee, you can enjoy on a rainy day. Nicest thing here was the provision of a money tin - and the easy sense of trust that campers will pay for what they have.
Free range fresh eggs are available, along with a varying range of other home produce - courgettes, tomatoes and fruit pies all appeared whilst we were there.
We had read other reviews about muddle over fees, so negotiated at the start of our stay that we would keep a tally of nightly occupancy and pay on a weekly basis. We did not encounter any difficulties. Fees, per night, were £7.50 inc. Electricity for the motorhome, £2.00 per adult, £1.00 per child, 50p for the awning and £1.00 for an extra car.
The site suited our needs perfectly but those with younger children who require more room / scope for active play may find their needs are not met here. But for friendliness, welcome, flexibility, nature and tranquillity, not to mention good value for money, the site would be hard to beat.

Beautiful site with immaculate shower and toilet block and very friendly people.
Close to the park and ride for Norwich £3.30 for up to 5 people.
Close to large out of town shopping area sainsburys etc.
We stayed on Saturday and Sunday night, when owner came on site to collect fees they were much higher than quoted on the phone I think he charged us for Friday night as well even though we reminded him which nights we were staying.
We would use again but would want the fees in writing first.

We stayed here for a long weekend on our very first outing with our new tent. The site itself is beautifully landscaped with trees, bushes and a little duck pond. It is quite peaceful as it is down a little country road, less than a mile away there is a pub which does meals, we didn't try out the pub but it did look lovely. It is a ten minute drive to Sainsburys and other shops on the outskirts of norwich. There is a playing area for children on site for ball games etc, no play equipment though, it is separated from the camping area by high hedges. The shower facilities were spotlessly clean and also the toilets. It was a joy to stay here, the owner was very friendly and helpful, we are booked again to go back this weekend. I would recommend this sight whole heartedly.

Quiet site, arrived Bank Holiday Monday and most people had already left. Good location for Norwich with plenty of shops, no play facilities for children however large area for ball games away from tents and caravans.
Toilets and showers OK plenty of hot water and space to change, I didn't notice the shower block being cleaned in the 6 days we stayed, the floor could do with a good scrub, the soap dispenser was empty the whole time. The owners don't stay on site so we only saw them when they came to collect money, and then the last day to say we hadn't paid for the last night as they had marked us down as arriving Sunday instead of Monday! Beware when they calculate cost of site as we were over charged, I'm sure if we had said something they would have been OK. They just come round to your tent with no receipt or calculator and just add it up in their head, it was our children who were quicker at maths than we are pointed it out to us. Tent was 4.50, each adult 2.00, each child 1.00 electric 2.00 cooking tent (gazebo) 50p.
