Pictures and description on website are out of date, we were unable to pitch with our group. The hard standings are very close together and were weedy.
Facilities were clean but ladies smelt.
The noise from the A140 was very loud and fairly constant day and night as it is only a field away.

We stayed at this site over the late May Bank Holiday weekend. Site is well located, being a short distance from Scole and a reasonable walk from Diss, so there is plenty to do.
We also took bikes, so there was plenty to explore a little further afield. The owners were really helpful in pointing out shortcuts to the local pub and explain the local amenities.
A relatively small campsite with a larger camping field attached, the facilities were a little dated but more than made up for this with their cleanliness and functionality.
They offered good value for money. There are swings and a table tennis table, and other pieces a play equipment, so those with kids should find plenty to do on site.
Overall this was a nice peaceful campsite, well maintained, with friendly owners. It is certainly one to book again.

Very clean and quiet site.
Friendly with some seasonal pitches who can give lots of advice about where to go locally.
Malcolm and Wendy lovely and helpful. Dog friendly with walks locally.
Good pubs in Scole few hundred yards away.
Hook ups available and lovely tent field.
All you need in Diss with 3 supermarkets and Fiat and other make dealership.
Love it here.

A cosy site set between trees with a river adjacent, had a nice hardstanding pitch a stones throw from that river. Quiet at night and locals quite friendly.
Toilets a bit basic but functional.
Easy 15min. Walk into Scone along the river which has two pubs plus shop. Diss can be walked too also but pavement narrow with fast traffic so not pleasant, we opted for a taxi for £5.
Lot of wildlife about, heard Great spotted and Green Woodpeckers.

Great campsite for touring the area. We pitched our tent in a huge field. There was another field for those requiring electric hook up.
There were picnic tables which were useful and lots of space. The very short walk to the toilet and shower block was dark but we had read other reviews and were ready with torches!
There are 2 good pubs just a 10 minute walk away along permissive paths partly along the river.
Toilets and Showers old fashioned but spotlessly clean, as was the washing up area, with plenty of hot water.
Some noise from the nearby roads but we have had much worse!
Owner helpful overall we would highly recommend.

We loved this site! It is a very friendly, relaxed site with really clean facilities, lots of warm water in nice clean and powerful showers. There is loads of space in the tent field, overall great value for money. Great location for exploring East Anglia too.
We visited for Spring Bank weekend and we still had a really spacious pitch which was well kept. The field has a steam running along the bottom side which was nice but may mean small kids will need to be watched.
There are lots of games and books that can be borrowed as well as a few small kids bikes. There are football goals and ball plus a small play area, ping pong table, and badminton net. Enough to keep my 7 and 10 year old happy.
Only minor downsides were that there was a bit of a drains smell in the end shower in the ladies block, and the tent field has roads running along 2 sides within earshot (but a well safe distance) of the field, but after the first night we didn't even niotice any noise.
The walk from the tent field to the shower block is very dark at night, you have to have a torch. I was a bit spooked and didn't want the children walking alone but I guess that's just part of camping!
