A lovely little site, with a clean toilet and shower block.
Very pretty alongside the babbling brook, with little wild spots dotted around which made the site feel very much in-place amongst the scenery.
The site was very quiet, and we were not cramped for space at all, even on a busy weekend.
Paul and Sue were very helpful towards us, giving us lots of ideas for places to visit.
An ideal base to expore the Welsh countryside, and not too far from Barmouth if you fancy a day at the Seaside.
We will definitely be visiting this site again.

Cringoed is a great little site positioned by a stream that runs through the park and surrounded by rolling hills and mountains. If you want a site that has character then do visit Cringoed.
The site is a mixture of tourers, statics, and tents and all the touring pitches have a grass area for awnings which is well drained. The tent area is ample with electric hook up in easy reach and is very well drained we camped in the wettest august and were not muddied up.There is a information shed in the middle of the park which has books and information and books of local walks also this contains two bbq s for your use and other toys and games as previous reviewer added there are children`s toys for guests use in the park also a small park area. The owner has picnic benches dotted around the site for use by the visitors we had one by our tent which was great for sitting out on at night under a very non light polluted area to gaze at the stars which were awesome.
Facilities on the site are good with a brick built toilet and laundry block which were clean and usable the mens block contained a shaving point and two showers plus 4 toilets and two sinks, the womens mirrored the mens (apart from the shaving plug). The pot wash and laundry were together and contained two sinks with hot water and also a fridge freezer and an iron and ironing board and a coin operated miele washer and tumble drier.
The park is clean and tidy and well priced something the owners Paul and Sue pride themselves in.Paul is a mine of information and is always happy to help and very aprochable.
There is an abundance of wildlife around the site and the badgers love to come down to the park in the early evening.
Overall a good honest site ,great family owned site good facilities ideal for touring and walking.
The bad points for some that it is not central nearest supermarket 10 minutes drive away but a local p/office for papers 10 minutes walk away.
Would stay there again 8/10 site.

Fantastic site! This was our 3rd weekend visit this year. Very quiet and tranquil site set in the middle of the hills. Small toilet, shower and dish washing block - Very clean and well maintained. Outdoor wooden play area for the children, small stream runs through the site. Owner is very nice, always goes out of his way to make all welcome. Many childrens toys - ride on cars, tractors, scooters dotted about site for children to play on. Area is beautiful but be warned local village shop closes at midday on Saturday and doesn't re-open till Monday. Ideal site to stay at for short journey to the beach. Aberdovey is a beautiful beach, Mychynleth is a lovely town 20mins drive away - worth a visit. Clywedog damn is 10-15 mins from site, spectacular views and walks here. Extremely reasonable site at £15.50 per night (2A 2CH - Elec hook), Lovely bonus that owner doesn't hurry you off in the morning, in fact on all occasions we've stayed until at least 4pm the following day at no extra fee! If you are in this area you must pay a visit. We will def be back this summer.

If you want a quiet caravan park that is located amongst the hills of Wales look no further than Cringoed Caravan Park. Nestled between two hills with a flowing river passing through the campsite it is the place to go, to relax and unwind. The site has a basic shower/toilet block that is clean and has hot water. A small playground which kept three young children entertained for the duration of our stay. Easy access down to the river. An extremely friendly and very helpful caravan park owner. There is a games room but it only has pool table and skittles. It is a very short drive to the local village which does have pub shop and post office.(didnt use any of the village ammenities.)from this park we drove to Aberdovey for a morning on the sandy beach which only took 30 mins to get to. Overall a lovely friendly little caravan park.
