As others have said, this site is well placed for St Davids (10 minute walk) and the coastal path, which is fantastic.
Pitches are gently sloping: the ones in the entry field get the best views.
The facilities are dated but were clean, and there was hot water (but there were only 4 units on site while we were there). There's plenty of room in each of the four showers so your clothes don't get wet. The facilities might struggle if the site were full.
The only negative point was that the waste bin was full when we arrived and overflowing when we left after 2 days.
We only saw the owner once, but there was a mobile number to call if need be. Site fees are reasonable.
Overall, we would be happy to stay there again.

Would have been an ideal site if it wasn't for the groups of drunken idiots who woke us up at 2 in morning ! This site is too close to the the pubs of St Davids for it to be quiet. Suggest the owner needs to rethink how he handles male groups. If you are walking the PCP then suggest you use Nine Wells instead.

Just this minute arrived home from Glan y mor caravan site in St Davids. Lovely site, nice and quiet with plenty of room. Yes the facilities are a bit dated, but very clean, plenty of hot water, and toilet roll. The owner is quit laid back and collects money every evening. As they were quiet, we stayed until mid afternoon on the day we left - no problem. Lovely views from the site and an easy walk into St Davids and down to the coast path. We had a lovely walk through the town down to Porthclais and then back along the coast path to Cerfai bay and back to Glan y Mor. The views from the coast path are stunning, but in some places you need a head for heights. I would recommend Glan y mor as lovely relaxed place to stay, as long as you don't expect 5 star luxury.
We will definitely go back.

We spent a couple of nights at this site while touring Wales.
It is within walking distance of the city centre and some excellent coastal scenery. The city is worth a visit and you can book lots of water based activities from here.
Access to the Pembroke Coastal path was very easy and worth exploring.
Facilities on site are a little dated and shabby but overall the site rid the job for £20 per night for a motorhome.

Visited here many times due to its location to the city of St. Davids and the coastal path. The facilities are not fantastic but average and kept clean. Could do with a longer hose to fill the fresh water tank for motorhomes. The hotels, pubs, shops are all within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance and the coastal bus service operates from the visitor car park less than 5 minutes walk from the site. The beauty of this site is its location. You can walk the coastal path and from frequent access points along the path catch the bus back to the information centre at the top of the road, and walk back to the site.

Fab little site. Many will pass this site going to Caerfai Bay or Farm site at the bottom of the lane. Well hit the brakes and stay here.
The site is flat unlike those down the hill. It's small and feels welcoming unlike Caerfai Bay with its rules. The price is £7ppn and no add ons. The owner is laid back and friendly.
The walk into St. David's isn't as far as you think. Don't need to go up to the visitor centre and down the main road. There is a little bridle way on the left when you reach the first street light that runs directly to The Farmers Arms.
The coast path is 400 yards away, and local buses are fab.
The facilities are basic but the showers are hot. Ok there may be the odd cobweb in the toilets but you're camping and there's every chance you have a spider in your tent. The fridge freezer is a nice bonus, often don't get that at this price.
Will go back.

Thought I'd write a review as we've just got back from Glan y Mor and feel the site deserves a more positive review than some of the older ones on here. We arrived and were able to pitch up where we liked and just had to phone the owner to say we'd arrived and he arranged to collect our money in the morning.
The pitches were all flat and sheltered from the sea breeze by hedges although this meant there wasn't a sea view.
There were no silly rules and the other campers were respectful of each other.
The toilet block was clean but a bit shabby but loo roll and soap was available. There seemed to be enough showers for the size of the site but we did go out of the school holidays when it would obviously be busier.
There was no dedicated children's play area but plenty of space in the centre of the camping field we were in.
The area is beautiful with a lovely beach down some steep steps and St David's just a short walk away along the lanes or the coastal path. There is a small organic farm shop nearby but no ice cream vans or anything like that which suited us fine.
All in all if you want a quiet site in a beautiful area away from the touristy side of things then this may be for you. If you want a large beach, seaside shops etc. Or a site with entertainment then there are plenty of other opportunities available nearby.

We have just returned from a great week at Glan-Y-Mor. To be honest, we were sceptical before our visit due to previous reviews but we really loved the site.
If you want all singing all dancing campsite facilities, regimented pitches, and rules and regulations the length of your arm, then this probably isn’t the place for you! If you want beautiful scenery, peace & quiet and a non-commercial site then this may be for you….
The site has 4 large unisex showers which are all old, tired and a bit tatty looking, but on our stay (busy Jubilee/half term week) there was always piping hot water and they were always clean. We would suggest a mop & shower curtain in each cubicle as sometimes your clothes got wet too!
Again, the ladies & gents have seen better days but always had plenty of hot water, toilet roll etc and had a hand dryer & hair dryer. We could have used the facilities in our motorhome, but had no need to.
The grass was well cut and the pitches were large, we had a corner plot which was huge and the views were to die for. Yes, there is a power windmill in sight, but this did not offend us whatsoever.
The site has no wardens, but this wasn’t a problem when we were there as it was just families/couples enjoying their holiday. We have stayed on a lot of campsites, some with all the mod cons etc but would not hesitate in returning to Glan-Y-Mor.
St Davids is lovely, and if you like walking, the 180 miles of coastal path within minutes of the site are a must, as is the beach, it’s a steep trek back up, but we felt it just worked off a few Welsh cakes!
Try this site, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

On sat 9th july, we just turned up on this site as the next one to it all the level pitches were in use. Sign on gate said ring mobile and just pitch on any vacant pitch. Finally settled on the second one next to the gate.
Cost £20 per night for motorhome and two people and electric, first night was very quiet and on sunday we left the awning up and drove off exploring the area, on arriving back a takeaway van had set up on the next pitch. They moved the car when asked and there was no smells from the van, but the owner of the site never mentioned the takeaway was setting up when we paid.
Would we go back never. Also the owner is not on site so any groups making a noise, nothing will be done.
The toilets/shower blocks are looking old/shabby and in need of some paint, not worth the money.

Unfortunately, we booked and paid for this site before they updated their website. The old site stated that it was in the grounds of a guest house with a bar & restaurant on site and a separate dog exercise area.
The site now has new owners who have closed the guest house, including bar/restaurant and there was no sign of a dog exercise area.
For the number of pitches, there were insufficient washing & toilet facilities which appeared to be housed in old farm outbuildings. 2 Urinals & 2 cubicles in the gents and 3 cubicles in the ladies.
There were 3 kitchen sinks for washing in the Gents with one plug shared between the 3 sinks. The ladies had the same. There were also 4 unisex showers.
The views from the site were quite good (apart from the wind turbine) but the area was not good for allowing dogs to run free, as it is mostly cliff paths or private fields.
The nearest beach was small, only available at low tide and down a long steep path. Other beaches in the area are a drive away and limit the area that dogs can use or prohibit them altogether.
