Had a wonderful 2 days at this site, very friendly and welcoming owners.
Lovely well kept site situated on a river with good sized hard standing pitches and beautiful views, Ideal for visiting Betws-y-coed, Bala and Llangollen.
There is a small bar on site which had a lovely atmosphere and very child friendly, although my 9 year old son preferred to spend his time in the games room which had a pool table and football table, he loved it and made some lovely friends there.
The toilets are basic but nice, they are kept clean and tidy and the shower was nice and hot.
There is a television aerial plug in on the pitch, which Martin the owner very kindly leant us a cable so we had a perfect TV reception.
Overall view loved the site and would highly recommend it, Can't wait to go back again when the weather is a bit better and there's a little less snow and maybe try a bit of fishing on the river.

Just come home after a two night stay at Glan Ceirw with my son. We were both made to feel welcome as soon as we got out of the car.
The site is well looked after and spotlessly clean Martin and Pauline are doing a great job.
With free fishing in the river which runs through the site and the on site bar we will be going back next year.
Reasonably priced site. Quiet and peaceful area central for most tourist places.

We have just returned from a two night stay at this site and we really can’t praise it enough. The owners are very welcoming & helpful but not intrusive.
The site itself caters mainly for statics; but has approx six tent pitches and a couple for caravans too. All the pitches are well spaced out giving everyone plenty of room.
The whole site is well maintained and with a river running through it quite close to the pitches it really does have everything you need for a quiet family holiday.
The site boasts a small bar which is very cosy and child friendly and there is also a games room.
The toilets & showers whilst on the basic side were spotlessly clean.
We’ll definitely be returning to this little paradise.

We stayed at Glan Ceirw for the August bank holiday and had a great time, there was a duck race on which the children found very exciting. There was a pool table and football table next to the bar which the children enjoyed.
There was a small bar which was warm and friendly also the children were allowed in. Owners were friendly and very helpful, and toilets and showers were clean.
It is a beautiful area, we went to bala lake for a day and betws-y-coed. We all had a lovely time and will be returning next year

Visited earlier this month, with a small caravan.
Parked near river, very helpful owners really friendly. Site was very quiet not many on site.
Weather terrible lashed with rain.
Although we were in a caravan we had no loo. No body mentioned we needed a key to use the toilets! Not good Late @ night we had to walk to site entrance to get to toilets only to find them locked. So please remember No Loo ask for a key! Area is a bit too far away from the nearest town for us. Corwen Little town not much to see or do. Very nice site but not enough in Local Area for us. Great place if the weather is good & you love walking.

I visited at Easter with my husband and child and I can't recommend the site enough for a perfect holiday. We will definitely return in the summer!
Its a very pretty camp site, in a beautiful area, with so many places to visit. We visited the beautiful lakes nearby and although the weather wasn't too good the atmosphere on the site was warm and friendly, by far the best camp site we have been to. Our child loved the games machines and the pool table. The bar is warm and inviting and the whole site is very well-kept and there's a very clean toilet block.
The owners were so friendly and helpful. Although the weather wasn't great we had a fantastic time, and we will definitely be returning in the summer.

Just come back from a seasonal site term at Glan cerwi, March till the end of October it was brilliant.
The site itself is next to a lovely stream, surounded by fantastic views, very well kept site by the owners Pauline and Martyn who cant do enough for you, they go out of there way to help you, and make sure that everything is in good shape.
The toilet block is very nice always hot water, clean and tidy. The caravan site has good tv reception due to Martyn putting a large aerial up, so you just have to plug in extension cable which Martyn supplies also.
The bar the have is very cosy and the drinks are very reasonable. There is nothing bad about this site I can think of, even Molly the dog is a gem. Will be visiting there next year.

Had a lovely stay at this campsite.
Site clean, toilets good and a little play area for the kids.
Campsite ideally situated for Betws-y-Coed and Bala, as well as Snowdonia national park.
We pitched right next to the river, had a Vango Diablo 900, which fitted in nicely.
There was a small car park which was walking distance of the pitch.
Had lovely weather and the kids were playing in the river which was shallow and flowing.
A pub on site is handy, very quiet, which also sold ice creams
All in all a lovely site, would go again, and cant remember any traffic noise at all but maybe that was because of the river

Visited for the weekend. Site is well signposted just off the A5. Some road noise but not constant.
Site is clean and well maintained. Owners are friendly and helpful. Pitches field or hard standing with grass with hook up.
One ladies and mens shower which were clean and showers are free. Didn't see any hairdryer. As the main part of the site is static caravans never any queues. Just need to walk up hill to reach them.
Tourers and tents on field next to calm flowing river. Nice area for walking from site or good base for Snowdonia walks. There is a small bar on site which was fairly busy. Nearest pub approx 2miles 'The Saracen' Basic pub with basic menu eg burgers, pie and chips but friendly people and reasonably priced. Otherwise Betws-y-Coed is 20 mins drive with lots of good places to eat. Would recommend Ty Gwyn Coaching Inn but would book in advance.

Had a lovely pitch right next to the river (which we had asked for on booking after reading another review). Was a bit of noise from the A5 but slightly drowned out by sound of the river. Downside to being by the river is that everyone else comes around your tent. We were constantly surrounded by other peoples children, which we found a bit annoying as we don't have any children ourselves. Can't blame them though as there is nothing else for them to do, ie. No play area. There is no area to kick around a football so, again, this happens all around the tents, which inevitably leads to accidents. There are no marked out pitches for tents and no natural divide, ie. Hedges so may be an idea to take a windbreak so you can divide your area off a little if you want some private space. I would suggest that if you are child free then this might not be the site for you at busy times when children seem to be everywhere.
The toilets were OK, but not great. There was always loo roll, but not sure how often they're cleaned. Shower had plenty of hot water and was free, although could have done with a good clean as well.
It was great to have a small bar on site, and as the site is so small, you can take your drinks back to the tent (also because we had a dog and he wasn't allowed in the bar). Drinks were reasonably priced.
All in all, nice quiet little site (apart from the kids). Lovely setting. Nice people. Services OK. Would return but not at a weekend or on school holidays.
