We visited this lovely little site over a weekend and had a very relaxing stay. Site owner very helpful and friendly, this is only our second time out in our caravan so the helping hand to position our caravan was much appreciated.
Very quiet site, it is next to the road but can honestly say the traffic noise was minimum. Mostly static vans & caravans pitched for the season, the touring section is small but the pitch sizes more than ample. Dog friendly site, in fact we seemed to be the only ones without a dog. All very well behaved and no barking, a credit to the owners and the site.
No play area for the kids, this didn't bother our two boys who played happily on their bikes.
The toilet block was a good size, always empty and relatively clean (the sinks could have done with a bit of a clean, but nothing major). The showers had a plentiful supply of hot water. We never used the shop or the laundry / washing room. Reception seemed to be constantly open!
Comrie is a nice little town with a good range of shops, we used the fish & chip shop the first night there and the food got a big thumbs up. Visited auchingarrich wildlife park, a bit expensive but we had a great day and the man at the falconry centre was fantastic.
Overall a great little site in a lovely area.

Good flat ground, dog friendly, small shop. Toilet block spotless and free showers. 5 mins walk to town of comrie good food in comrie hotel then spent the rest of night in ancaster bar made welcome friendly locals. The only thing that I did not like was the fact the campsite is very close to main A85 trunk road but I would stay again

Lovely quiet site in a great location. Ideal for a relaxing break away from it all.
Owners very helpful, arrived later than expected due to traffic and the owner was there when we arrived to show us where to park our caravan.
Did not use the shop for anything as I brought most of our food with us so only bought papers & rolls in the morning.
What can I say about the showers, they were excellent, plenty of hot water. I used them every day.
Will certainly visit this site again !

Have stayed here a few times now over the weekends. Lovely, quiet site and very helpful owner who maintains a very high standard for her site. She is very proud of her facilities and so she should be. Lovely roomy showers and hot water aplenty. Local pubs are good and had a lovely bar meal in the Royal Hotel. We are hillwalkers and there is plenty of scope in the surrounding area. All in all a good place to 'recharge the batteries'.
Best wishes to 'landlady' - see you soon.

Very nice site! I have stayed at this site twice in the past, in their static vans, last visit in '97 and I am very pleased to say the standards have remained very high. I can easily say that this is the best campsite shower I have used! Clean, big cubicles, none of this push the button every 30 seconds rubbish, lovely hot water, plenty of loo roll etc. A lovely welcome from the lady that runs the site, and no complaints, only helpful suggestions when our van tripped the whole sites leccy. oops!
Local pub very nice for w welcoming chatter and a pint, but don't be tempted to eat there, I was rather disappointed with my meal, despite it being chosen from the chef's speciality menu and being recommended by the landlady.
