We stayed an extra two nights what more can be said!
Every thing about this site was fantastic.
The owners and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The permanent/semi permanent and day to day residents were very friendly and there wasn't a day went by without some one stopping to say 'morning', 'evening' etc. Or just to have a general chat.
The toilet/shower blocks were kept immaculately clean and were never any where near crowded even though the site was busy.
The rubbish bins were emptied every day.
Security was top notch
Whilst staying here we visited places in Devon, Dorset and Cornwall it's and ideal site to use as a base for visits to places like Monkey World etc.

I have a really great time in this campsite. Everybody is friendly, with a warm welcome.
The campsite is quiet, the pitches are large, you'll feel in connection with the nature.
Sanitary are always very clean
The bus station is maximum at 100 meters and deserve very well Exeter and Torquay area.
DO not hesitate to go to the bar of the campsite in the evening, you'll have a great time with the team.
I recommend highly this campsite and I'll return there if I have the opportunity

Our caravan is now stored here and this was our first 2 week holiday on site having only had a Bank Holiday weekend before. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the site was clean and tidy at all times and very quiet. Yes the A38 is noisy right up until bedtime but you get used to it and soon ignore it.
I only met one other person in the loo block in 2 whole weeks! It was always clean and plentiful hot water even late in the evening.
Our pitch was large with views across fields to Haldon Forest. I agree that a chemical disposal and waste water point closer to the touring field would be helpful.
All of the staff without exception were friendly and helpful and always stopped to say hello and ask how our holiday was going.
We find this location excellent for so many places, it is easy to shoot down to Plymouth, you are 10 minutes from Exeter, 20 from Dartmoor and half an hour from the coastal towns of Torquay, Brixham and Paignton.
Back again in 2 weeks' time, only for a weekend but roll on the end of July.

We were only staying one night and were placed on a small hard standing surrounded by large patches of concrete with service pipes poking up from them. The views could have been lovely but were hidden by the hedges which were high and straggly.
The staff member who greeted us was helpful about the buses, which make this a convenient site for visiting Exeter. The toilet and shower blocks were excellent.
Road noise is bad but if you want the convenience of a single night stopover on the way to or from the west country it is bearable.

The campsite was easy to find and the owner was very helpful on arrival, helping us to find a bus route to Exeter etc.
The pitches were quite close together - we were next to a very large RV and if there had been one the other side our van would have been very dark!
As it was February the bar was shut. There was also a lot of renovation work going on - not a problem as it was the weekend and diggers etc not in use, but not an attractive view.
The toilets were very clean, with plenty of showers, but the floor was a bit chilly in February!
The campsite was very handy for the bus to Exeter but it's closeness to the A38 meant the lower end of the campsite had a lot of traffic noise.
There are a lot of static caravans on the site so I would recommend booking in busier seasons.
We will probably visit this site again but only for it's closeness to Exeter.

What a great site, on arriving the staff were superb, showing us our pitch making sure we were ok and pointing out the facilities. Once we were set up we went wandering around, the toilets and showers were immaculate as was the washing up facilities and laundry room. The location of this park was ideal for going round all the areas of interest in Devon. This is not a large site which makes it all the better, we were even able to send out for a chinese takaway while we were there which was delivered promptly.
The only bad thing about going to this site is when you have to leave, just wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1. We will be returning later this year and again for two weeks next year.

Park looks very nice, and is ideally located. Security issues mean that each visitor has to be watched and checked upon. Site felt very insecure, and advise locking down everything and sleep light!
Site owners helpful - special arrangements had been made due to a late flight - however on arrival the owner stated ' I can't be bothered, find somewhere else' which left a woman and two children with no where to go in a strange country.
If on their terms and if in normal office hours then should be ok - much more pleasant places to stay locally, however. I wouldn't want to be there very long!

We stayed at this site for 2 nights. We thought it was a lovely site with lots of facilities. On the Sunday night we went to the bar on site which had a bbq and raffle. The staff were very friendly. The toilet and shower blocks were very clean as was the washing up area and laundry room. The park for the kids was very nice too. The pitch was tidy and it had a water point and electric hook up right next to it. We went to Crealy park one day which I'd say was about 15 mins drive. We also went to a restaurant in Chudleigh called the Highwaymans Haunt which was nice but very pricey. The only thing I could moan at is the noise from the motorway it is quite loud and ongoing but you do get used to it, that's all really.

We spent a week at this site which was tidy and secure. We enjoyed the visit, the owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The modern toilet/shower block was always clean with plenty of hot water. There was a playground for kids and a nice lounge bar open in the evenings. There is a local shop a short walk and 3 pubs in the area. The best thing for us though with a motor home is the bus service between Torbay and Exeter that stops very close to the site.
