Booked for 3 nights in May. Easy to get to (just off M5 between J30 & 31). Very clean site. Nice clean & modern shower block. Not many showers but we didn`t have to queue. Adequate water points but not enough waste water / chem toilet disposal points. We had to drag our wastemaster / cassette up a fairly steep hill! We could not get freeview on ourTV with standard omni-directional aerial so you will need mast / external type (just bought Image 530/2). Nice level pitches but not overly big. Fantastic views. There is a shop & onsite bar but we did not try these. There is also a pub (Gissons Arms) within 200 yards but again we did not try it although it looks to be both large & family friendly. All in all, an ideal site for 2/3 night stays or as a convenient stop-over to break up a long journey. Prices are reasonable and there are enough facilities to justify the prices.

We visited this site for the May bank holiday weekend which we booked quite late. The site is really easy to find and to reach as it's just off of the A38. The site had loads of vacant pitches which puzzled us considering it was a bank holiday weekend.
The owners are very friendly & helpful and have lots of info on the local area. The site itself is very clean and well maintained, the toilets & showers are spotless like new. There is a small play area for children surrounded by a grass area for ball games.
There is a bar on site which also looks new and the owners have some entertainment such as pub quizzes, raffles, BBQ's etc. , depending on the number of guests.
We didn't use the pub over the road as we had been told that it was very expensive. However a short drive into the villages and there are a couple of lovely pubs serving good food. There is also a chip van that visits the site car park regularly.
A bus stop is nearby for access to Exeter, but the bus times were sporadic so we didn't use them. A taxi into Exeter costs roughly £12. Exeter is a lovely city and is well worth a visit (great for shopping too!)
The only possible disadvantage to this site is the road noise, which does not bother us, and the dog walking area is just a very small area which is also used as a dumping ground and caravan storage, but again this did not bother us too much and if we'd have wanted longer walks I'm sure we could have found them.
In all we would definitely recommend this site and will visit again if in the area.

Only stayed two nights at the end of the season. This site was excellent. The location was really convenient for pulling off the motorway and also the surrounding area has loads and loads to offer for all age groups and interests.
The shop was well stocked - and helpful. Reception Staff were readily available and helpful. Everyone was pleasant. The pitches were clean and well kept. The whole camp was really nicely kept. The toilets and showers were spotless. Loads of facilities which were much appreciated.
We didn't have enough time there but we will be returning next year to have a much longer stay.

Visited this site for 2 nights. We found the site owners Lisa & Ian very helpful. The toilets and showers were clean and there was plenty of hot water. The site was immaculate and well laid out with both hardstanding and grass plots. As said before there is a little noise from the road but it didn't bother us! There is a good bus service from nearly right outside the site into Exeter, which we used, about (20 mins ride). Just over the bridge there is a pub (bit pricey!) or 10 mins walk to Kenn Village there is a beautiful thatched pub that serves a good variety of food, (best to book it gets very busy). Will definitely go back.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Cornwall. The site is lovely and clean. Plenty of showers. There is a park for the kids. The road is a little noisy but after a while you do not really notice it. The site owners and staff were great, could not of been anymore helpful. I would recommend this site.

Went here in july was very hot. Lovely site clean and friendly all you need here on site. Good value cafe too. Will go back again. Road a little noisy but soon get used to it. Smashing hotel over bridge do first class meals and carvery. The village pub all extra friendly as are the village people. Lots of places to see and visit from this location.
