We were very impressed with this site. The facilities were clean and well kept.
Plenty of leaflets and information about the surrounding area kept on site which helped plan the activities.
The locked gate creates a feeling of security and there is a nice little kids play area and dog walking area.
It is ideally placed to avoid the worst of the coastal winds and noise but at the same time offering fantastic views.
The camping pitches are right next to the road which gets a bit of noise from the night time racing fraternity but this is a minor problem.
Although the shop only has an hour slot for opening Fishguard has plenty of alternative options for provisions so this did not cause to much of a problem.
We were only there one night arriving late afternoon (tea time on Saturday) and packing up by 9.30 on Sunday so did not have the pleasure of meeting the owners.
Overall an excellent site and credit to the Welsh tourist industry.

We thought this site was excellent. Clean facilities, enough of them and very helpful owner. We would suggest booking as you need a key to get in the site. The view from our pitch was stunning across fields to the sea. Overall there was a nice 1960's quiet and relaxed feel to the site with delightful gardens and planters. We would recommend most highly.

Site set in a beautiful area of countryside, local pub within walking distance. Staff on site very friendly and helpful. Small shop on site selling basics. Added bonus was the utility room on site (washing machine + tumble dryer, freezer, hot water to wash dishes in). Nice site, small play area which included a swing, but not really any open ground for older kids to play football, run around or get rid of any energy before bed. However, saying that, there was a nice park area in Fishguard which is only about 1.5 miles down the road, so not far to go. Good price for accommodation and facilities that went with it. If we ever returned to Fishguard, we'd be happy to go here again.

August 2005 An excellent quiet site. Toilet, showers, Dish washing & laundry facilities are to a very high standard. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a small but adequate childrens play area and for once any children on this site are well behaved which confirms the type of clientelle allowed on the site. There is also a small but adequate dog field, and there are plenty of areas the dogs can excercise within a few minutes drive. The site itself is terraced with close cut grass. The landscaping is very well maintained with colourful beds & borders of flowers and shrubs. The access "B" road is narrow from the Fishguard & Narberth ends but there are passing places at regular intervals. The entry to the site is through a locked gate and you will have to park on a slight sloping entrance drive which can cause problems if more than one car or caravan unit turns up at the same time.
Most of the site users are seasonal pitchers and as reception is only open at certain hours in the morning or evening I advise pre-booking as you will need a key to enter the site. There is also a small but adequate shop in reception again open on restricted hours. The only reservation I have is that the local boy racers tend to use the road outside the site as an RAC rally track between the hours of 11-00 pm and 2-00 am. The surrounding area is beautiful with numerous Beaches, coastal walks,Forest walks, Forest picnic areas, country pubs who do excellent meals and picturesque villages, so there is plenty to keep all ages amused, or you can rest on a very peaceful & tranquil site. Overall I can highly recommend this site.

July 2001 A small site, ideal for anyone looking for a site without games rooms and similar facilities.
There is a small chilren's play area, clean toilet / shower block, laundry facilities and a small shop.
This was a repeat visit for us, but our first with a family. We thoroughly enjoyed both visits. There is a pleasant walk of about 2 miles through woodland to the local pub.
The pitches are reasonably well-spaced, and wildlife abounds if you're quiet enough! It's a very peaceful and pleasant site.
