This is a nice quiet site in the beautiful Gwaun valley.
The facilities block is a little dated but it's kept very clean and functional. The owners are very friendly and keep the place looking nice.
The area is lovely and the Gwaun valley is an absolute delight to explore on foot or by bike.
Re: road noise - it's really not that bad. Some reviewers must live in a library! It's a very quiet road so you tend to notice any vehicle on it.

Really like this campsite - have visited twice. Quiet (outside school hols) and set out on two levels. All pitches have lovely views out towards the coast which is about a mile away
Lots of good walking locally including the coastal path. Fishguard is about 1. 5 miles away. The loo block is old bit very clean with decent showers.
There is a lovely newly built children's playground with lots of nice wooden structures.
Only one negative, possibly a positive depending on one's viewpoint, is the absence of WiFi and mobile reception. The owner is very helpful.

Smallest pitch I've ever stayed on.
Lucky we had no one next door or I'd of been very unhappy.
Beautiful views and well sign posted.
We only stayed one night.

We absolutely love this little gem of a site. Just a few minutes outside of Fishguard and you're in total peace and tranquility.
The showers and toilets were clean and plentiful, thee washing up facilities were also a bonus.
The owner, Linda, was so helpful and friendly too.
We were a couple with a 4 year old and he loved using the park.
Plenty of good local walks and Fishguard itself is very pretty and has an almost scandinavian feel to it.

We were looking for a campsite that was quiet for our first trip away with our young dog. The campsite was just what we wanted. Pitches were large and the whole site was well maintained with loads of flowers everywhere.
The toilets were clean and tidy with lovely free showers. The washing up room was inside and had eveything you needed.
We also liked the wooden picnic tables you could use (1 between 2 pitches). For the kids there was a play ground area but there was grass areas which had 'No playing' signs which was a shame.
The site had wonderful views across the hills which seemed to be full of sheep LOL. The pub was in walking distance but the road was fairly fast and not the best to be walking at night.
All in all a nice little site aimed at the adults more than the kids but still worth a visit if you want to see Pembrokeshire.

Excellent campsite just up from Fishguard Lower Town. The toilet facilities are very clean & the whole site is very tidy and good value for money. The gate is kept locked when the warden is not there and you have to ring the number on the gate to get details of how to get the key to get in, but it's not a problem. The owner is very friendly and helpful & there's a lot of local area information available. Fishguard harbour is a lovely place.

A lovely little site with clean facilities friendly owners - stunning views & a good base for exploring surrounding area within Preseli Mountains. Close to Fishguard / Goodwick for supplies Utility room has dishwashing facilities, laundry facilities & a freezer which was free to use, an absolute bonus when not using EHU
The only downside is the site is adjacent to the road & could be noisy at night, but this was solved by earplugs!
