Fab - owner is extremely welcoming and considerate.
There were some noisy guests up late and she gave us a bit of money back because of this.
Ideal location for walks and bike rides, recommend the Nags Head pub in Edale too

Really lovely site.
The UKCampsite doesn’t do the site justice- ‘they have peacocks and a lovely van that sells pancakes, waffles etc.
Lovely local walks and pubs even though the weather was typically wet in high summer!’

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here and would stay again if in the area. The views were great and was only a short walk to Edale.
The toilets, showers and washing up area were kept very clean and tidy.
There is a train track that runs next to the site, but this was not very busy and only had short trains on it, so not an issue.
The owner was lovely, helpful and informative.
There were 3 young ponys and a great dane which was nice.
Would recommend this site to all.

A basic beutifull sheltered site with friendly manager, English countryside at its best! If filled to capacity, the facility's might get a bit full!
Nearest Pub/shop 1-2 miles depends on how you get there (walk or drive), if you love pub grub all week your OK! if not take the shopping with you!

Location ideal for walks in Hope Valley, with Grindsbrook Clough, Kinder Edge and Ringing Roger the chosen route during this stay at Greenacres.
Quiet campsite which has not been busy the couple of times I’ve used which means you aren’t waiting for facilities: one large shower cubicle, two toilet cubicles and two sinks in men’s block and then a separate pot washing facility in between the men’s and woman’s shower blocks.
Site has WiFi (name: Park) and until finding this out on first visit as we had no mobile phone signal we were unable to get online / make calls etc.
Pleasant staff on site who have helped us with local info on both occasions I’ve used the site.
One of ways to confirm a positive review is to say whether I would stay there again and I definitely would.

Beautiful owners. Very friendly.
Amenities spotless. Showers lovely and hot.
Nice and quiet site. Not far from any attractions. And walking spots.
Cater for groups and rallies. Also dogs
Which is very rare nowadays for sites. But very good too know.
Thankyou for a very enjoyable stay
The Wilsons.

Great site and great location.
There's a trainline that runs along the bottom of the site (with quite frequent Manchester / Sheffield trains) but the noise didn't really bother us.
Also, the toilets and facilities are quite small, so they were a bit busy over the weekend, but again not really a problem.
We'd certainly go back there!

Received a very warm welcome, picturesque location over looking Loose Hill & Mam Tor. Within walking distance of Edale and pubs.
Grass could have been done with being kept shorter. Toilets & shower functional however could do with being cleaned daily.
No recycling facilities on site with just a large skip at rear of building.
We would stay here again and recommend. Just some small adjustments could make this campsite 5*
Thank you.

Beautiful scenery from this site.
Toilets and showers very clean. There are 2 fields on a gentle slope and in the second field are 4 EHU points.
Great base for walking/biking. 20 minute gentle walk over the fields with gates, no stiles to Edale where there are 2 pubs.
Will definitely be visiting again
