We have stayed at greenfarm caravan site for 18years and in all that time we have had no problems with the staff who are all very helpful and cheerful. We are returning again this year and somehow when we check in they know you by name. The grounds are allways clean and tidy as is the shower blocks. The shopsand takeaways are allways on hand for things you need, allso the club has good entertainment on for everyone to enjoy and is freindly for all ages. The caravans are being up dated all the time. The other guests are respectful of the rules and never had a problem in all these years on the camp site. As we have had five generations of family there at one time or other ages from twoyear olds to lets say granddads. Scratby is a homely place and from there you can go to the sites witch are within a short travel time.

This was our first trip with a tourer and so glad we booked Green Farm! Fantastic site, everything to hand. Toilet/shower block, playground, bakery, shop, chippy right on your doorstep. Also receive passes to use Summerfields next door with swimming pool (lovely and warm), amusements etc. Didn't use the club but lots of shows etc. advertised.
Site is immaculate. Glad Scratby Hall cancelled on us and lucky to get this site due to some cancellations because of snow forecast, did have a few flurries and very cold, but had a very enjoyable weekend. Definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed at Green Farm in late September. Having just married, all we wanted was a peaceful stay with pleasant surroundings and plenty of places to visit. We stayed in a beautifully spacious caravan (ex. Large for 4) and were very very pleased with how clean, modern and well equipped it was. On arrival, the young man who greeted us was warm, pleasant and helpful and chatted with us freely and made us feel welcome.
I have visited this site before with my children some years ago and I have never been disappointed and always had wonderful holidays here and would recommend to everyone.
My new hubby absolutely loved the place, so much so that he wants to stay again and bring our daughter and twin grandsons.
We drove into Great Yarmouth on Saturday (market day) and found that it was lively and full of stalls even though it was edging towards the end of the season. Parking in the multi storey car park worked out better price wise, and time wise, as those parking facilities on the sea front can be pricey and as a result you can find yourself rushing a visit to get back to 'feed the meter' to avoid a penalty.
We also visited the Broads, stopping off at a village called Ludham and a wonderful little tea shop for coffee and ploughmans lunch (highly recommended).
The facilities at Green Farm were Extremely good, with an excellent general store and an equally excellent fish and chip shop next door (the haddock and chips was to die for)and very reasonable.
Just down the road in Beach road is the Post Office with an excellent supply of wines and spirits too.
Just five minutes away from Green farm is the California Tavern, with a children's garden and carvery for Sunday Lunches. There are a number of little beach shops nearby and just across the road was a take away for burgers, pizza and hot jacket potatoes (sadly closed when we visited, but have used in the past and are very pleasing).
I love visiting Green Farm, they take GREAT care in making the site pleasant and with beautiful flowers all around, a wonderful waterfall feature near reception and with such pleasant staff, you cannot help but love this gem of a place. Prices are EXTREMELY good in comparison to neighbouring sites and quality is never compromised.
We will definitely be visiting again, and we know we will have a great stay.

We spent a week at Green Farm for easter. It was our second time at this site.
It is really lovely with beautiful kept grounds & the kids loved the nice pool & play area.
The shop on site is really good & the chip shop is lovely. Munchies take away is ok but stay away from the take away at the oasis site!
My only complaint is the same 1 I had last year, the shower block, although clean is very very dated & freezing cold as there is no heating & all of the windows are left open day & night! I have never taken my kids to the showers & I used the caravan shower for 6 days out of 7! There is never any hand soap! This is my only complaint so please don't let it put you off, after all I am a wimp!
The site is peaceful, with the use of summer fields facilities a 2 min walk away. You will not be disappointed & we will definitely be returning soon.

Just back from another superb visit to Green Farm and so wished we had booked for 2 weeks! Everything already stated in previous reviews is correct apart from the criticism of the price! Where else can you book a weeks pitch for up to 6 people for £24 High Summer? This also includes entertainment and swimming at adjoining site which is a 2 minute walk away - I think you'd be hard pushed to improve on that!
The grounds are so beautifully landscaped, the pitches are huge and in excellent condition, everything is within a 5 minute reach; Bars, Pool, Launderette, Chippy, restaurant, tea rooms, Post Office, Beach etc etc etc.
To book they only accept cash or cheques with a £50 deposit and the balance paid on arrival.
The most friendly and helpful staff I have ever encountered and the loos cleaned before 7 each morning! Even to hire a static van here is under £400 High Summer.
This is an unspoilt wonderful little site and long may it remain so.

Myself and wife and 2 young children have been coming to green farm for the past 7 years, for 2 weeks and my wife since she was a child herself, we come from south wales about 300 miles,
The people who run green farm cannot do enough for you,
If you arrive at 9 in the morning, as we have done, they go out of their way to get your caravan ready, not like some sites, wont let you in till 4 in afternoon,
Its the cleanest, prettiest caravan site I have ever stayed at,
Great for families, have a look at brochure its exactly that, beautiful

Had a great 2 weeks at Green Farm and there is not much I can add to all the good things said already.
Everyone is very Friendly and all the staff both on Green Farm and on Summerfields were great, and a very relaxed time was had.
I'd say the small play area was OK if you were under 9 our ten year old was very bored by it, but our 5 yr olds lived there.
If looking on google maps you will see the beach is close by and it is, but if you have small kids and all the gear that comes with them them maybe somewhere else might be worth a look as there is a quite a path and steps down from the road, and the loos are at the top, and you know as soon as you get the bottom one will need to go.
With regard Summerfields club it is good and if you like your bingo then they take all the kids upstairs to play so you can get on with it.
But it is cramped in there if you arrive after 7 you will find it hard to get a seat with any sort of room around it, but we were there in august. We never stayed late enough for the nightly cabaret that started around 10ish but there was something every night.
Hemsbey has a good beach that is quite close to the carpark and has lifeguards but has a few sharpe small stones on the shoreline. The best beach we went to was gorelston. Sand sand and more sand, loved it.
Great Yarmouth is a great place we parked at the pleasure beach end and walked along the fron to the other end and caught a horse and cart back. If you get the chance and have a fare few pennies to spare try to go to the circus at the hippordrome it was brillant, but you might get a bit wet if you sit at the front :-).
Pettitts is a good place to visit if you have under 10's they will love it. ( discount tickets at summer field reception ).
All in all we will return, had a great 2 weeks and the park is very well looked after.

Beautiful site - the gardens are amazing, beautiful and well kept and the pitches are huge - plenty of room for car, awning and large caravan.
Everyone has their own dustbin and its emptied daily. There are lots of toilets and six showers in the ladies - I presume the men's are the same.
The toilet block is a bit dated, but adequate - the only shortcoming was that there was no hand soap available, a bit odd, I thought.
There was a lovely chip shop - delicious chips - and a well stocked mini market and laundrette. There were other small novelty shops nearby, also a Chinese takeout ( didn't try it )and the California tavern, which did bar meals which were OK, not superb, but OK.
We also sent for an Indian meal to Hemsby - that was very, very good. Hemsby was about a mile away by car - a great small entertainment / seasidey place for the kids, with rides, shops, arcades etc.
The beach was a short walk from the caravan site, nice beaches and good walks.
There's a 'pick your own' place near, which is great, we also went into Great Yarmouth a coupleof times and had a night at the dogs - the local greyhound stadium - which was great fun.
The site itself has no club or swimming pool, but you can use the ones at adjoining camps. The ones at Summerfields park were good - there was nightly entertainment and we saw an inspired neon puppet show, which was superb.
The other chalet park behind green farm was not so good however, it was tatty and badly kept, overgrown and neglected.
Overall, I'd go again, I enjoyed it and there's something for everyone there. Slightly expensive for caravanning though - its on the top side of what I expect to pay.
They charged us for each of our two tiny little dogs. The site was nothing like full, but I noticed that the other touring sites we saw were packed - this is probably the price.

Beautifully kept site and very friendly staff.
Good facilities choice of swimming pools to use
On sites either side of green farm and also able to use the entertainment. 5 mins walk from beach and also a shop at front of site and chip shop.Would definitely visit again. 15 minutes drive from great Yarmouth and also nice villages nearby. Or Cromer which is about 35 minutes drive away if you would like a more old fashioned seaside town. Also Hemsby is just up the road from the site with a number of shops and amusement arcades which the kids will love.

We visited this campsite in late July early august although it was a long trek for us (7 hours) I would highly recommend it. We were parked in front the of the park so that was the little one taken care of! It is an absolutely gorgeous place, the park is kept very very clean i.E they empty your own rubbish bin about 8am every morning you just couldn't fault it but there was just one thing that we couldn't get our heads around, they never had any soap in the toilets and when we asked we were told it was due to health and safety!.
Well what can I say bout the club house! It was very compact as they say. The tables were placed so close together that you couldn't get in and out without spilling someone else's drink. I think if they removed 1 row of tables that would solve the problem. You need to get there early to get a good seat although you could see everything from where ever you sat. Highly recommend the kids club too my little one really enjoyed it
The shop just outside camp opened at 7 30am and they were pretty reasonable on prices and they stocked quite a lot of stuff.
The beach was only a small walk from camp. The first time we went for a walk with the kids we actually saw seals swimming in the sea. The men tried a bit of fishing too didn't catch nothing though
Also if you get fed up with chips chips and more chips as we did there is a Chinese takeaway just opposite California cliffs pub. Prices very good and lovely curries.
Visited Great Yarmouth a few times as it was only approx 3 miles away. Nice lovely town also very clean plenty of holiday shops (as I call them)
Also did Hemsby to. That was a real holiday place, not very big, few arcades, holiday shops and general holiday tourist spot. I must recommend the tattooist there too if you are into them. Out of 6 adults that were in our group 5 ended up with tats they did a brilliant job and were cheap too.
We also visited Lowestoft too. The men did some pier fishing so us girls hit the town. Not many shops just one long road but saying that it still took us a few hours to look in them!
We also had a night out at the dogs. That too was good family fun.
We are definitely going to go back to this park in the future we had such a lovely time just hope all that read this will think so too
