Checking in was easy and the warden walked us to our pitch. The pitches are marked and fit your van awning and car on, there are 2 small camping areas, with a play area on one.The grounds are landscaped and some areas have waterfalls that are lit up at night.
Toilets and showers were always clean and close by.This site was lovely and quiet even in the main holidays, everyone were very friendly and many stopped by for a chat on the way past.
With the pitch cost comes membership to summerfields on the next site with a clubhouse and swimming pool, these do get busy. There is a launderette, chip shop and supermarket on site, a couple of arcades and pubs a short walk away and 5 minute walk to the cliffs and beach.
This is by far the best seaside site we have visited and will return

We decided on this campsite at the last minute we usually use our touring caravan but my husband had broke his ankle so we decided on a static caravan instead. The owners of the site are extremely helpful the first caravan we were given was sited quite away from the main reception area and children's play area so we asked to be moved. They couldn't have been nicer, and the 2nd caravan they gave us was much better than the first. Very clean and well kept the toilet block was also really clean and seemed to be loads of showers etc. Nice children's play area, very well kept site lovely flowers and water features. Nice Reception area, laundrette, shop, fish and chip shop. Full use of free facilities at next door Summerfields site and Oasis, we only used the pool as clubs not really our scene, but the pub near the beach The California Tavern is very nice, and serves good reasonably priced bar meals and a lovely Sunday lunch. Lovely beaches and villages to visit nearby. Winterton has a lovely beach with a good car park and cafe. Potter Heigham and Wroxham both worth a visit. Also Cromer and Mundesley beach very nice about 40mins drive away. We thought Hemsby was awful a mini Great Yarmouth but worse, in fact we were pleasantly surprised with Great Yarmouth as it was very clean although full of the usual holiday amusements.

I have been coming to Green Farm Caravan Park in Scratby since 1979, with my parents, I now come here with my own Husband and dog! I've seen so many changes on this site over the years, the only thing that has not changed is the fantastically warm welcome that you get from Geoff and Jeffrey, they can never seem to do enough for you from the minute you arrive to the minute that you leave. The site is beautifully clean and tidy, and there are gorgeous flowers, water features and an amazing fountain situated on the site. Even during the busy summer holidays, the site is relatively quiet, there is no club or pub on site, but these are available free on the neighbouring sites of Summerfields and through the chalet park, also. The site has it's own supermarket, which is no dearer than you would find a shop at home, there is also a chip shop and takeaway, and a laundrette, which has clean and modern machines and tumble driers, two gift shops, a restaurant, cafe and a betting shop are all within walking distance.
The beach is 5 minutes walk away (at the end of the road), the only downside of this, is that you have to go down a steep-ish slope and then a staircase to gain access to it, so if you are not so good on your feet, this could be a problem, but Green Farm itself is wheelchair user friendly, they also have disabled toilet and shower facilities available.
There are a couple of gift shops situated nearby, where you can buy a few items to take back with you, and the site is five miles from Great Yarmouth, and four miles from the Norfolk Broads, and most of the other attractions of the East Coast, leaflets and brochures for many attractions are available at the Office, there is also an excellent bus service available from just outside the site gates.
Personally, I love it at Scratby, and I am 35, so whilst I am not a teenager any more, I am not of the age to sit at home in my slippers, either!
There are always things to do, regardless of the weather, from shopping trips to Great Yarmouth, to sailing the Broads in a rental boat, the list is endless.
This site is a family site, it has a lovely little play park with swings, slides etc for the younger kids, within walking distance there are swimming pools, arcades and club houses / pubs, Summerfields is the nearest, and in my opinion the best of those available for free, as they have a separate kids club upstairs.
I would 100% recommend Green Farm to anyone wanting somewhere quiet, but where they could also bring children, either staying in a static caravan, or bringing their own tourer / tent, as they have excellent pitches for tents and tourers, which are very reasonably priced.
Whilst the weather may not always be brilliant, there is always something to do.
You are plenty of facilities nearby and within driving/bus distance away.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this site, and its lovely. The pitch was huge, with enough room for our van, awning and car and windbreak, and we could've still got another van in. Our pitch faced the play area so our kids could just go, they loved it. Only criticism would be that play area is a bit small and on occasions it tended to get over run with older kids.
The toilets were clean as were the showers, although the water tended to get a bit hot, and with no way of cooling it down meant you had to be quick. I took to showering my little girl in the van as it was way too hot for her.
The local shop was well stocked, and the chippy at the side of that was nice too, and the chips were yummy. Cant comment on the launderette as didnt use it.
The Scratby area is very pretty with a couple of gift shops and a tea room, restaurant and snack bar. Easy access to the beach was onl;y a 5 min walk from the site too, what more could you want
All in all we had a great time and next time we go to Norfolk, it will be to this site.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW - Got your attention? Good!
This site is by far the best I have ever stayed on in the 3 years I have been touring and probably the only 1 I would go back to without a shadow of a doubt.
Sooooo. Cheap to pitch, sooo. Beautifully landscaped grounds, sooooo. Close to everything you need. The entertainment passes for adjoining Summerfields static & chalet campsite were free with a full entertainment programme all year - we made the most of it. We won a competition and a free holiday for next year. The onsite shop was the same price as at home - no exploitation. The launderette had fantastic dryers, the chippy was good, also a takeaway shop over the road. There is a brill play park that my 5yr old twins were on until dark most nights and they way the tourers are pitched you can see the park from wherever you are so very safe. It is a 5 min walk to beautiful safe beach. Can't recommend highly enough the California Tavern and Sunday Carvery for £6.95. Only downside was the site does not have chip & pin facilities. I wish I didn't have to tell you about this site I want to keep it to myself! 5 miles from Great Yarmouth and there is something for everyone there. Our unit comprised of 4 adults (19 - 49) a 14yr old and 5yr old twins and EVERYONE enjoyed the holiday and wants to go again so that should be recommendation enough! Marks out of 10 - 10 no doubt at all

First time in our tent didnt know what to expect. We had a fantastic time from the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with a friendly smile. The site was very clean and tidy and so were the facilities. Everything in easy reach of our tent the children loved the play area which was situated just in front of our pitch. The only problem we had was the birds get up to early all in all we had a brilliant time and we are going back in June, cant wait.

What a lovely site, with its well maintained gardens and grounds. It's family run, with pleasant owners, always finding time to help you out. Very safe site for children, also with a small children's playing area. The site is very clean and good for families. The toilets ans showers were extremely clean, no matter what time of the day you visited the shower block, you always managed to bump into the cleaner. Good waste disposal unit, all very well maintained. Only down fall being you have to press a switch to turn on the shower, which gives each unit a time of flowing water.no good if you want to spend forever having a shower. Good little shop, with fish & chips and site laundrette, within easy walking distance, as well as other local amenities not far away. The beach is literally at the end of the road, which is lovely especially at sunrise. The main Yarmouth town, only 5 minutes drive away by car. Ideally situated. This site has no club facilities, although you are allowed to use both of the clubs on the adjacent sites of Summerfields park, which are reasonably good. Now for the bad bits.the adjacent club house to Greenfarm, is Summerfields, which allows you to use their clubhouse. They rent their club house out for private parties, which start at 5pm and tend to finish at 6am the following morning. Unfortunately, we found this out on the last day of our holiday, before starting a 3 hour drive home. The music was so loud, that not only were the guests moaning, so were the surrounding residents. The police were called, and would not take any action as it was a reggae-African Caribbean party. The scene was like from a horror movie, with many guests wandering the site in early hours, dressed in their pj's, all trying to find out what was going on. This was disappointing, as all the guests on this site and the adjacent ones, were all paying guests. Over-all, a pleasant site apart from the above mentioned. We would definitely visit this park again, insuring no private parties were booked on the adjacent site. 9/10

There were 2 families who visited together. The pitches allocated seemed a bit small - but we are very good friends! The toilets and showers were extremely clean. The rubbish bins were emptied regularly and somebody was always going round either collecting stray litter or tending to the very well maintained and plentiful flower beds. The club and swimming pool at Summerfields was also in excellent order - some great acts on at the club and plenty to keep the kids occupied. All in all a great holiday experience for 4 adults and 3 kids. Not too far away from the beach access either - superb!

Just come back from 2 nights here- lovely clean site: £18 a night with electric was really good value I thought, especially as this includes free membership to the swimming pool and clubhouse on the adjoining site. Pitches are well spaced, showers are cleaned regularly, plenty of hot water, all you could wish for really! Would definitely go back again.

We've just spent the week before Easter here and apart from the weather it couldn't have been better. The condition of the grass field was excellent. The very friendly staff even went and checked it for me prior to my booking the week before. The toilets and showers, although in an older building and without heating, were all in full working order and as clean as any we've seen. The whole site is in excellent condition, from the tidy grass to the ornamental water features. The real bonus is the free membership to the adjoining Summerfields site. Kids activities, free swimming pool and evening entertainment every night in the club. Peak times may be more trying but we never missed out due to the pool being full or the club being overcrowded even at the start of the Easter weekend. Scratby has been able to maintain a quiet feel and has an excellent beach. Try Abigails Tearooms for a cracking bacon sandwich ! All in all at around £20 a night it represents great value. We will certainly visit again
