This site was amazing and we as a family made good memories there this weekend.

The views are second to none, the place is spotless and friendly with excellent facilities all round.

Thoroughly enjoyed it and will go back without fail. Thankyou

Stayed on this beautiful site for 3 nights. We were lucky to have a pitch with stunning views of Llanbedrog beach and sea with boats bobbing, and yachts drifting about.

What a lovely sight too wake up to. The showers are what a 'shower' should be clean, hot, easy to use, no time limit and no queue. We found a lovely walk (1 mile)over fields to the Ship Inn, the walk back(along road)is a little steep, but a lovely way to spend a summers evening.

One negative was that two dogs belonging to the same owner were not on leads and were running about the campsite. However we met some lovely people on this friendly site.

We generally don't revisit a site, but this one we may do!

P. S. Maybe more information to read about the area of places to visit and local walks would be useful.

We have just returned from a week on the Lleyn peninsula, and staying at Bodwrog was one of the highlights. We are caravan Club members and have stayed on several CLs in the area, but find them quite basic, and we also tried another independent site close by which we did not like.

Bodwrog however is in my view the most pleasant site we have stayed on in the Lleyn in 40 years of visiting. Pre-booking by email was very easy, with no deposit required.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival and were shown to our pitch. The toilet / shower block is excellent and a very adequate size for the site.

We were blessed with sunny dry weather nearly all week so could appreciate the glorious views across towards Snowdonia.

Just one comment on possible improvements - the chemical toilet emptying point, located in the one of the caravan areas, is rather tired and would be better located in or around the block.

Stayed here for 3 nights. We have been caravanning/motorhome for 35years and have to say this is the best site we have been on. The owner is friendly but inobtrusive and the site has a relaxed atmosphere. There are a number of seasonal pitches, few were occupied but those that were, the owners were friendly.

The toilet and shower facilities are second to none, always clean whatever time of day. The showers are hot and remain on until you switch them off, no annoying push buttons. There is a washing machine and dryer, £2 for the washer, the washing up facilities are under cover, an added bonus in the event of rain.

Lastly the views from our pitch are superb, mountains, sea and hills ever changing with the weather.

The site is dog friendly, usual rules apply. The beach at Llanbedrog nearby was enjoyed by the dog. The site is convenient for other beaches and villages of the Lynn Peninsula

We will visit again. Paid £23 night for 2 adults and a dog, well worth it

Spent 4 nights here with partner and small dog - one of the best campsites have been to.

The new shower block is a delight with high quality construction unlimited hot water on the power showers and spotlessly clean (although it was mid week and the site quiet).

Nice short grass and plenty of space. Lots of the tent pitches have hookups if you need that. 4g mobile signal (EE) Add to this a panoramic view from almost all the pitches stretching to Snowdon and the coast, and a nice pub down the road that does good food, what more could you want.

Upmarket Abersoch has plenty of other eateries - a 5-10 minute drive.

A beautifully situated site overlooking the sea with mountains in the

Background. Nice and clean with excellent shower and toilet facilities.

Great for families with children as there is plenty of room for running around, beaches close by nice pub down the road that does nice

Food{the Ship}. One of the best views of any campsites I've ever stayed

On anywhere we'll be back

Stunning views, absolutely stunning. It is however rather high up so if the wind were to pick up it would be very exposed. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Toilet, shower and laundry facilities are larges, modern and clean.

Nearby beach (5 min drive) is stunning but stoney with a wonderful walk up the overlooking hillside. Although the tide goes along way out, that is when its shallow sands are exposed and once over the stones its a wonderful walk out through shallow waters. My 5yo loved every minute. The local pub/restaurant is very good but booking is a must.

Negatives:-

Could do with a second freezer. Not for the room but because it gets too much use so is opened so often it stops achieving the aim.

Would be good for someone to have a walk around about 10/1030 as it is a family type site and on one night I really wanted to have a word with 2 tents that clearly had no understanding of consideration. A bit of chat is fine but stereo's and loud late night skyping. Really?

We gave them the benefit of doubt based on it being their 1st night and maybe not used to how well noise travels in a quiet environment. The following night was fine.

Overall the value for money on our short break was tip top. We will return.

We stayed for six nights in our small caravan over the August Bank Holiday. The pitches are well tended, with nice short grass, and the site is clean, tidy and well cared for. We had plenty of room for our caravan, small tent (no extra charge) and car, and the views over the south east of the Llyn Peninsula are stunning. All of the pitches have a slight slope - some more than others - but nothing too drastic, and we had no problem leveling our caravan.

The site was nice and peaceful and friendly and the showers, loos and washing up facilities are in a spacious modern block that was kept very clean. The showers are free and hot and, thankfully, not of the fifteen second push-button type favoured by many sites.

This is a lovely small family site and a great place from which to explore the peninsula.

Creative AIMS visited here on a camping meet, I was one of them.

It offered panoramic sea views of the Llyn Peninsula, mostly level pitches and a clean and tidy shower block.

It is located a mile away from the village of Llanbedrog and roughly 1. 5 miles away from Llanbedrog Beach. The nearest pub called the Ship is less than a mile away.

The downsides were that it was quite exposed to the wind, one reason why we got rid of the tent. For an extra adult staying it was rather expensive and the electric hook ups were scattered few and far between.

Overall we would stay here again but the wind is a worry.

The Creative AIMS camping rating is 7 / 10

We were looking for a site near to the beach for the few sunny August days, we booked via email and the response was very quick, answering all our questions and confirming our booking. We paid £20 per night for non ehu for two adults and a baby in a tent. It was a few more pounds than we were used to paying per night but our rough camping days are over now we have a baby in tow! It was absolutely worth every penny! What a wonderful site!

There were quite a number of caravans, some which looked settled for the summer and even had potted plants and garden ornaments outside of them. We drove through this area to get to the camping field, everything was clearly signposted with signs telling you to leave a large gap between tents and space for people to park their cars next to the pitch. We parked up and went to reception where a very nice chap took our payment and let us know where the facilities were. There was plenty of space in the field even though there were a few tents there already, we were not limited on space at all. We only have a small tent but the people next to us had a large tent and gazeebo for cooking under (genius) so the site is quite relaxed about the amount of space you take up.

The views are spectacular, all the way to Snowdon on one side and right out to the peninsula on the other, the sun comes up right outside the tent door which is beautiful. The site had lots of families, lots of little ones running to and from tents making friends and keen to entertain our little one, definitely a great place to take the family. The site allows BBQs which was a great bonus.

The facilities are really the winner for me here, absolutely immaculate and look brand new. There are lots of stalls and about 4 showers (free unlimited hot water!) in each male and female block including baby changing facilities in each! There was toilet roll, hot water and soap provided as well as hand and hair dryer. The toilet block was also heated which would be wonderful on a chilly night! The washing up facilities are indoors too with 3 big sinks and again, unlimited hot water. There were washer/dryer facilities which came at a small price which would be excellent on a longer trip.

The only negative I have is that it took until the last day of our trip for me to locate a stand pipe! There didn't seem to be any in the camping field but there was one in the caravan field, you just have to go on a little hunt for it.

Very friendly on site cat, chickens and cows.
