Stayed for one night whilst touring Wales. We arrived at the site mid afternoon and had a choice of the five or so touring pitches. The site is mainly long stay or static vans.
Whilst this wouldn't be a site I'd visit in the summer because of it's size, it was great for an out of season stay. The location is very good, right on the sea front with the coastal path running directly behind.
The facilities were a little dated but were clean. At £10 for the night with EHU, I thought the site was very good value and well worth a visit for the location alone.

Quite a decent site, split between static and touring seasonal pitches with reasonable space for touring pitches.
Where we were it was flat with a great view of the sea.
Fair to good little shop and quite a good clubhouse with good food.
Decent children's park.
Very reasonable prices.
I would stay again if I was in the area !

What a fantastic view we had of the sea from our caravan window. Although the site is full of static caravans tiered from the shoreline tourers are on the top tier looking over the top of the statics. The only drawback is we were there when the 70mph were coming off the sea and sleeping made me feel as if I was on a boat. Having driven down from Anglesey with a very wet awning it was trying to put up the awning to dry it out. The owners/wardens/staff were all very friendly and helpful. The toilet block was very nice but I didn't like the showers/cubicles. Otherwise had a lovely time.

Just returned from spending two weeks in our tent at this campsite. Would highly recommend this site, it is well kept, we had a fab view of the sea. Staff very friendly, the clubhouse is ideal and the food is excellent and also reasonably priced.
Shop has all you need and again reasonably priced, although it does shut between 12pm-3pm. Location quite good as you are 20 mins away from both Aberystwyth and New Quey which has a brilliant sandy beach.
Free hot showers/toilets although if I had to give tham a mark out of 10 for cleanliness they would only get a 6! The only thing I was disappointed about was the fact my two boys of 15, could not go into the children's games room without someone of 16 and over.
One of the reason we chose this site was because it a children' s games room. I think they should advise of this on their website.

The site was easily located although upon arrival it seemed that everywhere was shut (surprising considering it was only 11am on a Saturday). We spoke with a long term camper who advised us to just pick a pitch then pay the next day. Fair enough!
This site is predominantly for caravans and is more suited for a relaxing weekend which suited us down to the ground. There is a little club house, a little shop, clean and free showers / toilets, and all the usual cleaning facilities. We picked a spot right at the end of a jetty to the beach and by 12 we were sun bathing.
The pitches are well spaced out and the views are wonderful. My only disappointment was that the beach was rocky, however when the tide comes in you can swim off the jetty without worrying about the sharp rocks under foot. At this time it seems every man an his dog takes their boats out for fishing too!
There are some nice walks up nearby hills which was good for the dog, although beware of the heard of cows (which chased me off the hill!). There is a nearby Costcutter shop / restaurant too.
The following day we managed to catch the shop being open and paid our 95p. We (or should I say the other half) then went on to spend a small fortune in the shop as they were selling second hand designer clothes for cheap prices.
Positives were location, cleanliness, peace and quiet, and friendly staff. Negatives were the rocky beach and the lack of staff. All in all a lovely weekend and would definitely go again.

What a lovely site with nice hot free showers. Great sea views, wish I could have stayed longer. Shop on site not open all day
Was hoping to go back for the Whitsun hols but they are fully booked, My 6yr old loved it, she really wants to go back and so do we.
Very quiet in the nights which I think is great. Costcutters shop just a short walk away and this is an ideal place if you love walking.

This was our first visit to this site and we found it very pleasant, toilet block clean with free shower. There is a club on site which we found reasonable and encouraged you to join in Bingo, good cash prizes [your on holiday]. Food again reasonable although people seem to book in advance and this can cause a substantial waiting time. Shop on site, check opening times, good shop off site attached to filling station with cafe,10 min walk. You are right on the coast and it is a pebbly not sandy beach but we found it great for tide line beach combing and certainly no crowds. Overall a very relaxing stay, would recommend and if you have children there is a play area on site and games room in the club.

We have just returned from a long weekend at this site. Although this site does take tents, the majority of the site is caravans. The site was pretty full this weekend and there were only 2 tents in our area. A few more in the next field without EHU. The site is in a lovely position and there are good facilities on site. Toilet/shower block is spotless, club house is good although you need to book a table and food does not start till 6pm. There is a cafe just across the road from the site next to the petrol station and we had a good breakfast there this morning. The surrounding area is lovely, we did lots of exploring in Newquay, Aberystwyth and Devils bridge. This site is very reasonably priced, probably the cheapest we have stayed on, but we probably would not return, simply because it is more geared up to caravans than tents.

My parents own a caravan on Pengarreg and I really like it down there. It doesn't have the things like a swimming pool or an arcade but it does have club where you can get meals etc. There is a slipway for launching boats (only if you are on the site) a park for the kids, For the tourers it has a shower block, the site also has two touring fields and 150 permanent static caravans. A shop which sells the basics e.g. Milk bread butter cereal, sweets and camping accessories. Over all I think that its the best ever caravan site we have only been there for two years and only found it by accident but we are happy and well done to the miller family for running a great caravan site

I have been going here for a number of years and also was on their last site and I have never had a better time on holiday. The owners are a lovely family and I now have my tourer sited there. The site is very clean. I rate the toilets and showers the cleanest I seen and well maintained
