I have my own static caravan at Pengarreg and I have been going for many years but I think the site may be going downhill :( not a quiet site anymore. The site has a jetty, loads of statics which are clean and modern. Spotless toilets and friendly people.

Very relaxed site with friendly and helpful staff. Toilet block always spotless, shop on site and garage with mini mart opposite entrance. Club on site with very reasonable menu and beer prices.
Lots of statics and seasonal vans on site so it gets busier at the weekends, slipway for launching boats etc and large field at the back of touring field for walking your dogs, play area for children with swings, climbing thingys etc, beach is rocky but there is a sandy part to the left of the river mouth, picnic benches on the grass just before the beach are great for sitting and watching the marvellous sunsets.
We will definately use this site again. A big thank you to the Management & Staff for the most relaxing week ever.

The site has mostly static's with provision for tourers at very reasonable rates.
They have their own club house with entertainment throughout the week. The bar do reasonably priced meals and there is a play area for the children. There is also a jetty to launch boats and jet ski's from with plenty of places to visit locally.

Previous review says it all really. Cheaper than most sites at 7-8£/night. Very good facilities, had lovely food and beer at the club. Kid in pram not a problem.
Smallish site so only short walk to all facilities, lauderette, washing up, showers all in a well kept block with no queues and loads of hot water.
Stunning views from camping field of sea and rolling hills. Beach a bit inhospitable but pretty.
All areas on this coast are a touch isolated but this campsite is an ideal base for exploring, in our short stay we visited the sandy beaches of Borth and New Quay, and saw the Devils Falls.
Cracking holiday, cracking people, cracking place!

evry summer for 20 yrs
I have been going to this site for 20 yrs- started going when i was 3 yrs old with my parents and now still go back as much as possible with my own tent ( mum and dad still have caraven on site)
Site is very friendly, very good facilities 2 touring fields electric hookups, hard standing.
Top field is slightly sloping but is literally 2 mins walk from beach, all piches on this field have amazing sea view.
Loads to do for children, teenagers and adult. I had some of the best summers i have spent down there.
Club on site child friendly, very nice cheap meals and take away service, games room and function room.
In main season all thing from bingo to line dancing to discos. But no noise on sites. I would strongly reccommend anyone to visit this site who wants a relaxing but entertaining holiday.
