Situated in beautiful country side. Dog friendly with a lovely dog walk. Very clean and well looked after facilities.
Plenty of sea side towns, all within 20-30 minute drive. Friendly helpful owners. Has s lovely small indoor heated swimming pool.
We also store our caravan here, very safe & secure.

Love killerby hall! Small, quiet, private!
Lovely clean facilities. Lovely swimming pool! Graham and Jayne, the owners are great. Nothing is too much trouble.
We visit here all the time and after visiting other sites, it is alway refreshing to come to killerby!
Great park for the kids. They play out all day and you know they are safe! To the previous reviewer who moaned an out kids playing near thier caravan, you are going to get this at any site. Visit adult only sites if you don't like kids!
The pitches are a good size, there is also a car park if you want more spaces! Fab dog walk, always see wildlife and on a few occasion disturbed deer grazing in the larger field.
Prices maybe steeper than other sites but you get what you pay for and that is a fantastic little site!

Upon arrival we were shown to our pitch by a very helpful member of staff, the pitch was a level pitch of gravel, with a grass patch along side. The pitch was well sheltered and nicely spaced between the other pitches. A TV cable which hooks up to the free view box at every pitch costs £5 which is returnable when leaving.
The toilet block was always found to be clean, although rather small, only 1 toilet and shower in each block, although there was never a queue to use them.
The site also had an indoor swimming pool which was a bonus. Again a deposit for the key was required of £10, returnable. When we were there no one else seemed to use it which meant we felt as though it was our own private pool. There is also a play area for the children and washing facilities which was very handy.
Although there is no shop on site it is only a 5 min walk to the local shop and a bit further away was a large Morrisons supermarket.
All in all a fantastic site close to all the usual seaside attractions. Highly recommend.

Booked a week here as the reviews were all favourable. Met on site by nice chap who showed us to our pitch. All pitches are hardstanding. Toilets and showers were very clean. Pitches are incredibly small. We had nowhere suitable to park the car. I like kids but became frustrated with them running and cycling between the already small gaps between car, awning and caravan. I have been caravanning for 10 years now and this is the tightest site I have ever been on. After my car got blocked in I decided enough was enough and packed up and left. Nice area with nice people but just not enough room to relax. To be totally honest I'm being kind.

Just got back from a nice relaxing week at this fantastic site. It must be one of the most immaculate sites we have stayed. The loo's and showers which are very spacious were never busy even when the site was full.
I don't agree with one reviewer who said a little shop on the site would be beneficial, there is a shop a 5 min walk away and it would take time away from the site owners keeping this site immaculate if they also had to run a shop.
The pool and games room were excellent. I Would recommend this site

Stayed at Killerby Halls for May Bank Holiday - excellent in all respects - facilities were immaculate - hosts / owners could not be more helpful - excellent internet - loaned for free a cable for digital TV.
Walked for 3 days - first day bus to whitby and walked back (26 miles) on cinder track, days 2 and 3 walked to Filey and Scarborough on Cleveland Way which is easily accessible fro Cayton Bay which is amazing and unspoilt
Will return

Fantastic site! Perfect location for exploring the coast line. We were on a different beach every day.
Facilities were spotless! Hot showers and clean toilets. The playground was small but was lovely for my 11 year old and 2 year old. The pool was a bonus on a rainy afternoon, it is heated but still on the cold side for my 9 month old and 2 year old.
Games room was another added bonus for after dinner entertainment.
Site owners are lovely and friendly and very helpful.
Washing machine and tumble dryer came in very useful and at only a pound for a full load a real bargain.
Much of the road out side the site does not have footpath so we drove out to most places as it was safer and easier with my brood of girls.
Scarborough, Whitby, Robin hoods bay, Filey and Bridlington all have lovely beaches and are an easy drive from the site.
Highly recommend this quiet little site in it's perfect safe child friendly location.

A four day stay over the bonfire weekend.
The site was easy to find and situated in the small village of cayton.
We bussed into Scarborough for a day out shopping etc,
Had a pub lunch down the road while watching lunchtime time footsie. United beat Arsenal! Food was good and the locals pleasant and welcoming.
Site owners were very friendly and helpful with advice for getting out and about!
If your travelling from Preston/ Manchester avoid going through Harrogate at 5pm the traffic is horrendous!
A great stay!

A last minute booking and just for 1 night as needed to get the kids away during school holidays. Really friendly on the phone and booking in procedure was very straightforward.
The caravan site was very quiet as might be expected but facilities were all open and spotless. We spent some time in the games room playing table tennis and pool. We headed to Cayton (a 10 min stroll) to get some fish and chips for back at the van.
Next day we made use of the on site pool before packing up and heading into Scarborough for the afternoon.
We all enjoyed our all too brief stay and it was the break we all needed

We would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone who wants to be in the area of Scarborough.
We really liked the position. 4 miles into Scarborough (a bus just up the road takes 10 mins) or you can go the opposite direction and go to Filey.
We took a walk from Cayton Bay into Filey (about 5 miles) totally along the clifftops. Really lovely and easy walk. Apparently you can walk in the opposite direction into Scarborough and well beyond that, all along clifftops.
The beaches all along that coastal area are wonderful. Perfect for children.
The campsite itself was extremely well run, a very friendly and helpful team. The shower rooms were spotless with two wet rooms and two toilets. Laundry facilities were marvellous, really cheap (£1 a wash) and well worth using, even if you only have a little bit of washing. Tumble dryer £1 also.
TV reception perfect after hiring out a wire from camp owner (£5 refundable). Internet excellent too.
All hard standing pitches with plenty of room and no one crammed into the middle.
Would definitely go back if in the area. Thoroughly recommended. Very reasonable rates too.
Anyone who likes fishing. Wykeham Lakes (about 7 miles from camp) is absolutely fantastic.
