Absolutely lovely. Only one night on route but would have liked to have stayed longer.
The owners were charming. We would certainly stay again, and if needed recommend to others

We stayed for two nights during The Royal Welsh Show. Understandably, sites increase their charges during this week but to pay £40 a night then have to pay 50p for a shower seemed a bit excessive! There isn't any WiFi but that wasn't a problem for us.
Having said that, it's in a good location for the train station and village pub. The site is well maintained and we had a friendly welcome. Thank you.

A lovely peaceful site, basic facilities, but clean. Grass well
Kept and for £20 per night excellent value. Rail station is 5 mins walk, which is handy for a day out in Llandrindod Wells. The Cammarch arms hotel is also 5 mins walk, serving good beers and food.
The rail station is on the heart of Wales line running from Swansea to Shrewsbury with about 4 trains per day.
This site also has fishing available on the local rivers, and is well worth a visit.

Ideal for an escape from the normal trappings of campsites near roads or busy attractions, lots to do with in an hours journey, site is set beautiful peaceful grounds no light pollution here! A clean river for a dip on a hot day! Basic but hot showers and washing up, clean and tidy if dated shower blocks. Kids were busy being kids no iPads to be seen just lots of charging about and imagination running wild, hated heading back down the drive to leave.

Stayed at this site for 3 nights. What a lovely place. Also owners so nice and helpful. Also the one member of staff went out of his way to help us get a signal for our TV and the people we met all so friendly and also they made our dog welcome too. Lovely walks for us and our dog. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming

Lovely peaceful site !
Drive into a large field with a little park on the one side.
Pitches are large and tidy, the toilets are ok in need of updating but are ok
Owners are lovely and very helpful, there's a large hedge on the one side and behind that is a lovely river ! If you fancy siting your caravan these pitches are the place to be !
We will definitely return to this site again.

We arrived at the campsite on a Friday evening with brilliant sunshine and bright blue skies. We struggled to find the campsite as our sat nav refused to give us a route, and I thought it was in Builth Wells so freaked out that we were still driving.
Upon arrival, the owner greeted us from his little sun shed, showed us to our pitch and offered to make us tea or coffee. He wouldn't take payment at that point, just let us get on with pitching up.
The site is full to the brim of long term stay caravans and statics, so there weren't too many people actually on the site - surprising as it was a bank holiday.
The toilet blocks are fine, clean and two showers. No queues to complain of in the morning, and there was a sheltered washing up area.
There is an enclosed area in the middle of the site with tables, chairs, bbq and tv! We were invited to watch the grand prix with the owner and other campers, and everyone was getting on brilliantly.
The downside to our trip was that we were in Wales and come Friday night, the heavens opened and didn't really stop until Monday lunch time. The site did get a bit waterlogged but it wasn't at all muddy, just wet. After a morning chat with the owner, he said 'stay until 10pm if you want' so we went for a lovely riverside walk whilst the tents dried, and left about 4pm with dry tents. I must say at this point we nearly drove away without paying as he kept sending us away when we tried to pay.
The site has lots of rabbits running around and we even had a sheep wondering around.
We took our great dane with us camping, and the only restriction was that he doesn't chase the sheep. Really laid back friendly camp site, that I would visit again any time.

We came down for the Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling held nearby.
The owners of this site were most friendly and welcoming. Dogs were welcomed, which was a bonus.
Toilet block was very clean. Permanent residents were very friendly. Tea making and laundry facilities plus a 'games shed' with books and games to borrow were a brilliant unexpected extra.
Beautiful surroundings and brilliant facilities. We have every intention of participating in further 'Green'events in the area and will most definitely come to this site again when we do!

We stayed here during April for two nights and must say it was great value for money.
The owners are very friendly and accommodating.
The site location is great for a nice peaceful break. Loads of open space for kids to explore and play in.
Not much to do locally but that was exactly what we wanted.
We found the facilities clean and tidy.
We will definitely be returning again.

What a great warm friendly site. Very spaced out between caravans which was lovely. Despite the wet weather the site was level, pets and children welcome. Shower/ Toilet block very clean, but was cold to have a shower in the wet weather, although I know it was August.
Builth Wells only 6 miles away with a good range of pubs, places to eat, cafe's, a lovely park by the river, An indian and chinese takeaway.
The village has a small post office/ shop too.
Handy for those dog showing at Builth Wells.
